No, it's bad.

Change makes people cry! :argh:

LR seems to have just nailed another huge scoop, Indiana Jones this time (2018-2019 timeframe, Chris Pratt as a young Indy). So while Disney hasn't commented on it, deadline has also followed up on it. So they are really on a role as of late, especially pertaining to Disney. So take that as you will, but I think landing yet another scoop seriously lends credence to the spidey scoop.

Cautious optimism.

Oh god, please tell me you're kidding. An Indiana Jones reboot? Really?

If they actually convince Pratt to join in I'm all for it, but Pratt's really the only one I can see doing Indy justice

I like Pratt as much as the next guy, but I don't want to see this at all. If we're not getting one more movie with Harrison Ford then I really think they should just let the series go. At least for quite a few years. Not everything has to go on and on forever.

I know I'm late to this but my 2 cents on that Green Goblin suit debate.

THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH RAIMI'S TAKE

Let me explain. Name me all the comic book villains who wear a rubber mask. Think about that. I can't name barely any who wears a rubber mask in which his mouth isn't covered like so:

Dr Doom wears a metalish mask:

Black Mask wears a wooden mask:

Scarecrow really just wears a scarecrow material type mask:

The problem with the Green Goblin is the dude in the comics wears a full on rubber face mask and for some reason his mouth will move like he wearing makeup.

Yes Raimi did try. Now concept art is one thing. That's ****ing drawings. The only thing that matters is this:

The problem with this. Producers at Sony felt it was too scary and I believe Dafoe couldn't breath in it.

Now some people say Green Goblin looks like a Power Rangers villain. I say how is his look any different from THE BIGGEST AND PERHAPS GREATEST VILLAIN IN MOVIE HISTORY IN DARTH VADER????

any different than this?

Now let's look at Raimi's. Overall while he didn't look 100%, the Goblin at least felt like he was the Goblin in the comics. Green Goblin is meant to make Peter's life a living hell. After their first meeting at the parade, everything the Goblin did was to make Peter's life a living hell.

Attacking his boss and the place he works out

Attacking Aunt May

Kidnapping MJ

Now last thing, let's look at Norman Osborn. Dude owns a billion dollar company that does all types of military stuff and some people complain about the Goblin suit and glider coming from Oscorp. Because it's not like superheroes who own billion dollar companies use stuff from their companies...

Honestly, I think Ultimate Spider-Man has the RIGHT IDEA WITH THE GOBLIN IN SOME TERMS. Having Norman turn Goblin by going through a transformation is an ok idea and the best way to go in terms of having a real Goblin look. Maybe not make the transformation like Hulk but more Joker in ROTJ.

It would probably be the best idea to have something like the 616 Goblin.

The problem with TASM2 Goblin suit is simple. It's unmotivated.

The suit connected to the glider is literally the same idea as the Raimi suit. I mean I can on about Kid Goblin's backstory but I'm more talking about appearance. It's basically a darker green suit of Raimi's Goblin without the mask.

Just my 2 cents. Green Goblin is hard to adapt but Raimi did it well.

Great post :woot:

Raimi's section exists, you know?

For god's sake, fanboys aren't giving a break anymore.

It was debated on here yesterday and I never posted my thoughts.

Besides it's not like we have an actual Amazing Spider-Man 3 to talk about.

What else is there to talk about though? We have no real news and we haven't even gotten a rumor in like 5 days.

Shame on you then.

And it's not like we have a Sam Raimi's Spider-Man to talk about, you know, they are over. So it's good to stay on topic, or else there's the lounge for you.

He's right Andrew. we don't really have anything else to talk about.
