The same could be said about Rim. Even though he posts here and was excited doesn't mean he couldn't secretly be a troll or just lying about seeing the movie.
I have seen people do it in other movie fourms so who knows.

@ohheyitsgabe It's basically a cross between USM and E-616 SM origins. I had no problem w/ it whatsoever. Loved the film.

It sounds pretty simple to me. RIM didn't like the movie. Doesn't mean you have to dislike it. The guy was excited as hell for the movie based on what I read, and it sounds like he was let down. Doesn't mean you guys will.

That being said, I personally think this will open big but drop pretty bad. The general public is not going to eat up this version like the did the Raimi flicks, but nobody should be expecting this one to be anywhere near the Raimi flicks box office wise.

iJack from boxoffice.com? Yeah that guy is crazy, I check those forums sometimes. Then again most of those posters over there are loons. I also suspected iJack and SpiderMarvelite are the same, their intense enthusiasm for ASM is overkill..

Dude, you're killing me with this no one knows him thing. Several people pointed out his stats and his work to say that he's worked with professionals and done professional work so how isn't his opinion valid?

They pointed out his stats by going thru hs website, you can do it with any lowest tier critic. Right now rims review is as valid as rick marshalls, agreed ?

I think another thing people need to take into consideration is this...

Everyone has their ideal vision of Spider-Man. Because a lot of us have interacted with RIM on this forum in various threads, you can kind of tell what clicks for the guy and what doesn't. I honestly think he was disappointed with the film. I don't think it's quality wise that he is referring to. I think it's just a different take on Spider-Man that he doesn't approve of. Hense his comment "Some people will like it, others won't."

Looking at his reaction towards the Amazing Spider-Man game, he has such a distain for the game. He doesn't feel like Beenox is pulling off the true Spider-Man experience while a lot of fans are thoroughly pleased with what we're getting. He isn't impressed with anything that Beenox has shown thus far. People need to take that into consideration.

RIM works for Marvel. He obviously loves the character of Spider-Man. Sometimes a fans love for a character is both a good thing and a bad. He probably has Spider-Man on a pedestal no one will be able to touch because that's how he envisions the character.

Nothing wrong with that. As I said before, we've all done that. But I have a feeling most of us are going to love this film and all this worrying and abandoning ship before anything really concrete has surfaced is beyond me.

Sony obviously has faith in this film. Otherwise they wouldn't be in the process of making a sequel. Everyone enjoy the time between here and the release of the movie. These are always memorable/fun times!

Be sure to keep them that way.
