When did Spidey get in the car? The car doors clearly make a bit of noise when opened.

:lmao: I keep going to answer, wonder if I should, then laugh a bit more. You guys really make me chuckle sometimes. I don't mean that in a bad way. I honestly get a big kick out of some of these debates.

Okay, I'll contain myself: He could've got in the car before we join the scene. And you can hear the car door when he gets out, which a few have already mentioned.

You know why explanations of this kind always sound ridiculous? Because they are equal to the question.

Other than that, lol, this has really got me rolling :lmao:

lol it's quite hilarious actually

eggy i hope you enjoy the film man, can't wait to check out your review

Thanks, man. Hope I can report good news lol. Maybe I'll go all Sherlock and solve the mystery of the silent door heh.

:lmao:

Sigghhh. Read my post on the. Very first page, as well as the countless other posts addressing this comment. If that's too hard, here are the bullet points:

Based on his comment about dressing like a car theif, it's obvious spidey noticed the theif eyeing car before the valet parked it, which means the most logical time spidey could have gotten into the car was during the trade off, when the owner turned the car over to the valet.

Ergo, Spidey is already in the car before the theif even reaches it (and before this clip starts).
... which also explains the "don't dress like a car thief" line. Spidey knew what car to get into because he saw the carjacker eyeing it up.

The thief is looking at the car. You would notice the guy in the bright suit in the car.

I own a car. I have got in it before. You know when another door is opened. You can't open a car door swiftly and quietly.

Also, I think I saw an Aston Martin there. Now who steals another car when perfection is right there? :woot:

I own a car too, looks like we have something in common there. He is Spider-Man, he is not you or myself. He can do things that are "Amazing". I am moving on now because this conversation is not going anywhere. I feel sorry for you if you have to be spoon fed exactly what is happening. The scene is left to the imagination. Simples.

Unfortunately, yes. However, I think this kind of behavior has been amplified by RIM's vague foreboding comments. Now, everyone's too quick to look for flaws because they're trying to figure out why one guy didn't like the movie - rather than simply enjoying what we have and getting excited for the rest.

(Just my two cents.)

I don't think RIM's comments have anything to do with this. These two posters specifically have always been the ones to nitpick whenever they're posting on this board and never relent their opinion when others don't agree with them. Disagreements just fuel their persistence and just makes everyone else tired.

You know what... you're right. This IS stupid.

This scene is ridiculous.

Oh well, hope the rest of the film is better!

( ;) )

And this is what I am talking about. It isn't about being spoon fed, in fact it is the exact opposite.

Consider my attempts to argue with the nitpicks done.

Going into full-on ignoring them mode now :D

Oh, God. Please don't bring that up. Makes me want to vomit.

So there's no possible way Spidey was laying down in the backseat, out of view? :whatever:

Maybe it is just me, but I always check the backseat of any car I get into, especially at night.

But even if you use the logic that he got in earlier, you are making the valet and the drive two very unobservant human beings.

Use your cognitive skills. It's a back seat, cast in shadow. You could lie down or lean over and unless someone is purposefully looking to see what's in the back seat could be missed, especially if you're focused on the task at hand.

Or I'm giving Spidey the credit he deserves as being able to move quickly and unnoticed? And if you watch the clip, the carjacker is looking at the lock, looking around to see if anyone outside the car is watching, looking at the wheel (to hotwire the car). Never once does he even glance in the back. Why should he? He's certainly not expecting someone to be sitting in the car in a valet parking lot.

Lets change the subject. Do you guys think this film will be linear or be more like 500 Days Of Summer, where we go back and forth through time ? I have this feeling that Spidey will already be established at the beginning of the movie and we will get the origin through flashbacks.

This makes sense, if it isn't a car. You can't open a car door quickly or quietly.

Not that I don't like the scene, I do. Would probably be perfect if they kept the small knives take. But it does lack logic.

So you're saying you don't need to be told exactly how the guy with super powers entered rear of the vehicle?

I'm trying to be as fair as possible, but seriously, I'd have a problem with the film having Amazing in the title if the f***er's unable to get in the back of a car.

We used to have debates like: He's too strong! He can't stop trains in the comics! That fall should kill him!

Now we have this.

This is not The Very Average Backseat-Guy.

The only non-linear aspects will be flashbacks to his childhood.

Exactly his own attention is mainly making sure no one has saw him or the authorities. and also focused on getting and getting out

So, CBM just published an article about bringing the Lizard to life and the head animator for Imageworks was going over a few things, not much interesting stuff, but he did say that the Lizard rarely speaks through out the film, so...there's that.
