We know he's playing a role. We know it's performance capture. The question is who exactly he's portraying.

He mentioned working closely with mark Ruffalo so maybe he's Leader?

Yeah, it sounded more like a training course for actors type role.

Might be cool to see him though. He might be playing red hulk lol.

Just being a mocap coach for Mark Ruffalo.

Surprised I haven't seen anyone else guess (maybe I just missed it):

ABOMINATION !!!!! :abom:

Anything is possible.....

My Money is on him doing the motion capture for the Hulkbuster Armor

I thought that too but the hulk buster doesn't really have a face which would make it an odd choice to get someone of andys class to fill the role of

I didnt like Abomination at all. It seemed too much like a CGI monster. Even Hulk in TIH wasnt that great. Marks version is definitely the best version yet visually and character wise.

I don't think they need an actual guy to play the hulkbuster armor. I mean, that thing shouldn't move like a human.

You mean like apes and dragons and other things that have used actors and motion capture for the performance? I just figure since Hulk and the Hulkbuster Armor are going to be roughly the same size that it would be a good frame of reference to have two guys going at it that are rendered later.

Plus the reports have said that he has a role in the film and that he's working closely with Mark Ruffalo. Since there's been virtually no rumors of Abomination, the leader, or Red Hulk, and the fact that they've said numerous times now that Mark Ruffalo is doing the motion capture for the Hulk and James Spader is doing it for Ultron, it just makes sense to me that he would be doing a role that we know is in the film and we know has a scene with the Hulk. But then again, we won't know until we know. :yay:

I was thinking in the Pacific Rim robots and what Del Toro said about them not necessarily moving like humans would. And even Iron Man armor, has it been mo-caped before?

Yeah, you got that right... they would need a reference for the fight between the two.

One thing is certain, Serkis must have been quite a help in everything mo-cap related, from Hulk to Ultron or his drones.

he will do a mo-cap of Hulk being sent to another dimension

By actually being sent to another dimension himself
