To wed, or not to wed? That supposedly is the question that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are toiling over.
"We will never marry," Jolie is said to have told "Sin City" director Robert Rodriguez over tea at L.A.'s Bel-Air Hotel on Jan. 17. "If the kids get older and demand that we have a ceremony, we might. But that's a touchy subject with us."
Guess so. The same day, at the Chateau Marmont, Pitt is said to have told "Constant Gardener" director Fernando Meirelles he and Angie were planning to marry "very soon."
Star magazine says both quotes come from earwitnesses.
The reporter who's said to have eavesdropped on Jolie's chat claims the actress told Rodriguez, "We planned on having the baby right near my birthday, June 4. My mom suggested it. She's really into astrology and thought it would be great to have a Gemini like me!
"Brad is going to do a project in July, and we promised that we would trade off movies," so they can always be together as a family on set.
The gender of said family's newest member is the subject of some speculation. Life & Style is reporting that Brad and Angelina are expecting a girl, while Us Weekly claims it's a boy.
Meanwhile, another one of Pitt's babies arrived in Park City, Utah, this week - at the Sundance Film Fest.
The Pitt-produced documentary "God Grew Tired of Us" centers on three Sudanese refugees trying to carve out a new life after their village is ravaged and their families are killed.
Director Christopher Quinn told us that Pitt got behind the movie three years ago, well before Jolie had him diapering Third World orphans. "I was taken by surprise at just how detailed he is," Quinn recalls. "His follow-through was really intense."
Their movie is pretty intense, too. One Sundance audience member was so moved, she wrote a $25,000 check to a complete a clinic in the Sudan.

Um, did it occur to you that a woman who's pregnant with a baby due from May-to-June can't film a part that requires a rocking, non-pregnant, nude body, in a film that's scheduled to come out in mid-August ?
