so if iron man is to create ultron does that mean the avengers tower would be compromised as I am assuming that is where he would accidentaly make him . If he makes him?

I could definitely see the hulk buster scene being a sparring/test with Banner. But more than likely Ultron has hijacked it.

I hope it's not mind control but Banner and Stark having a genuine disagreement and him just hulking out due to it.
Yeah, I don't want more mind control. Especially if the twins are subject to that too. That would be half the Avengers having gone through it.

But I don't want a disagreement that leads to a full on fight with Hulkbuster armour either. That would show no progress from the 1st film, regression in fact. Far better emotionally and also making use of the main villain if the armour is hacked/hijacked and Hulk and Stark via Hulkbuster are being forced to fight each other. Possibly with the Hulk being the one to hold back if he can develop that kind of awareness while in Hulk mode (which would show progress along the road to hero Hulk) meaning a conscious Stark Hulkbuster has to watch while giving Hulk a huge battering till the scene is resolved. Maybe till Hulk goes into full rage mode after being pushed too far or other Avengers intervene.

Considering it seems to be a wrecked city, I don't think it is going to be sparring.

Tony and Banner (I'm assuming it's Banner...) science bro-ing it up:woot:

EDIT: I said it a few days ago, but f*** I can't believe it's been nearly 3 years since we were getting TA1 set pics. Time is passing so fast....

Some possibilities:
- Ultron hijacked an IM suit.
- Someone else hijacked an IM suit.
- Hulk went rogue, IM tries to bring him in.
- Tony wants Bruce's help, he refuses but Tony is persistent.
- Testing a new suit.
- Science Bros HIGH FIVE!

"We don't believe that the SUperhero film is a genre in of itself."

I have been saying that Marvel does this for some time now to those who think that all Marvel films are superhero comedies.

I just watched the clip and, well Joss calls them Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver. I wonder if they can use both names. Would make sense. Seemed odd that they would divide the names.

New thread! and whats an infraction?

An infraction is a notification that you have done something against the rules. They can lead to probation (time when you are not allowed to post here) to full out banning.

Banner and Stark creating Vision to counteract Ultron , I guess

Or, Hulk just plain and simple gets out of control and Stark has to stop him.

I mean, they did establish that Banner had some semblance of control of his transformations now (except when he's physically harmed), but that doesn't mean he can't still Hulk out, with Hulk being uncontrollable.

It's supposed to be assumed that he doesn't just go berserk anymore though. If he starts smashing it's for a somewhat valid reason by this point. Something would have to set him off now, he's not going to just see something and start attacking like a rabid animal. Like in most stories, if someone pisses off Banner, he is pissed off at them by association.

I still can't believe we're getting a Hulk vs. the Hulkbuster showdown. :woot:

Or maybe Tony is trying something on banner to unhulk him for good

The experiment fails, Banner gets angry, and Stark is forced to send HB to stop him

See, here's where people are mistaken.

Even though Banner now has the ability to focus his transformations and make himself change, he CAN still change involuntarily and have an unfocused, uncontrolled Hulkout w/ a completely volatile Hulk.

I mean, they showed this in the first film when Hawkeye's arrow caused the explosion which threw him from the lab to the boiler room.

His injuries there triggered an involuntary transformation resulting in an unfocused, volatile, rampaging Hulk.

It's like blinking.

People can choose to blink and can control when they blink......... BUT they still do it involuntarily as well.

I think Hulkbuster vs Hulk will be during the 1st act. I doubt they'd give away 2nd or 3rd act plot details so soon.

What do you mean?

Look at it this way: Hulk is definitely attacking the Hulkbuster suit in that scene. The Hulkbuster is grabbing Hulk's fists, meaning he's *blocking* an attack.

So yeah, it could go either way: out of control Hulk with Tony coming in to try to stop him, *or* out of control (i.e., Ultron-controlled) Hulkbuster with Hulk trying to stop him/it.

I'm betting on the latter.

That's gorgeous. I wonder what Tony & Bruce are working on there? Hopefully something that can take on Ultron.

I don't think that the image of Tony is exactly copied from IM3 art. But then again, I don't give a **** if it is. It. Does. Not. Matter.

Hard to tell since the figure is in the background, but in general, he seems to have darker hair than Steve Rogers, Clint Barton or Pietro Maximoff. Bruce is a safe guess....

....His pose is kind of telling, there. He's standing with his hands behind his back, like he's waiting for something to happen. If he was there to help Tony, or just curious about what Tony was working on, he'd be standing right beside Tony and his work. Instead, it looks like he's at the end of a beam weapon, getting ready to (willingly) get blasted by it...

....in sum: I think Tony is trying to use reversed arc reactor technology to "cure" Bruce Banner, and literally blast the beast out of him.

If I'm not mistaken, I thought they already said the Johannesburg stuff was the beginning of the movie?

Quicksilver seems to be pretty kick-ass in this film.
