If Marvel doesn't put Wanda in Captain Marvel then they failed.

Not really? Just because someone has a friend in the comics doesn't mean they're going to be in their origin movie. Iron Man is friends with Captain America and Thor but neither of them showed up in his movie. I mean, even the frequent suggestions of Jessica Drew being in it are probably at least a little more likely.

Wanda needs a female friend and Natasha ain't it imo.

You're assuming any friend she has in the movie has to already an existing superhero for some reason, and I'm not sure why.

I doubt the success of the Captain Marvel movie. I like Carol as an Avenger but find her a fairly dull solo act. I liked her better as Ms. Marvel, and with long hair instead of short hair.
