I'm hoping some of the Black Panther score is used.

The score in the clip sounds amazing. It resembles classic Hollywood score. A full fledged orchestra. Will make this film more epic than it already is.

Yeah, it's sounding better than ever.

Definitely really liking what we're hearing of the score. Really returning to Captain America: The First Avenger/The Avengers sound which is great.

Disappointed Spidey's theme from Homecoming wasn't there though.

Good news!

I hope this movie makes the Chinese box office explode.

There is a screening Sunday, too, right? Maybe we'll get some more detailed descriptions of those two scenes being shown.

I think there's every chance with the increased scale and how popular AoU was there.

I like the little Spider-Man scene; the music sounds nice even though it sounds like meandering epicness (TM), but I do have to wonder why the alarm didn't go off when he opened the window. Are NYC public school buses that broken down? :funny:

The school buses where I live don't have any alarms on the windows or the emergency door. Is that common for school buses where you live?

About the scene, it's fine I guess. But there is no way Ned's distraction would have worked. Some of those kids would have seen Peter jumping across the aisle and out the window. He could have just ran to the front and told the driver he had to vomit so the driver would stop and then get off the bus and run off. Sure he'd have gotten in trouble with his school, but that's better than letting his fellow students find out that he is spiderman.

Wow, stunning first post! Congrats!

Jacob Batalon is now the 31st confirmed actor in the movie on my list.

Very cool that he can put on his resume -- "His first two movies combined for over $2.5 billion at the box office.

Same. The Black Panther motif was awesome. These characters have awesome themes and Silvestri should utilize them, especially in this film which is going to be a culmination of everything from before.

I LOVE the score in that clip! It's very Back to the Future, which makes sense since that's one of Silvestri's classic pieces. SO glad they brought him back for this.

I think trying to incorporate everyone's themes into this movie would be a mess.

Looked like everyone ran to the back to look at the ship before he went across.

That's definitely something most school buses in my region had in common, at least when I was in pre-college school. (And we're not too far from NYC.) Maybe they've changed in the few years I've been out.

You just have to include the more important ones in isolation, not necessarily one for every single solo franchise character.

I'm really interested to see how/if Silvestri utilizes the Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther and Guardians of the Galaxy themes/motifs. I also wonder if Thanos will get his own theme and what it will sound like if he does.

I don't think people are expecting him to just use each character's full theme uninterrupted every time they're on screen, but using motifs and weaving the themes into original tracks works perfectly.

Thanos and the Black Order should get their own for sure.

April 5: Mexico City, Mexico (Mark Ruffalo, Joe Russo & Victoria Alonso).
April 8: London, UK (Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Tom Hiddleston, Letitia Wright, Anthony Russo & Joe Russo).
April 12: Seoul, South Korea (Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hiddleston, Tom Holland & Pom Klementieff).

In Avengers I don't recall Silvestri trying to incorporate the prior solo movies themes into the movie aside from the First Avenger theme for Cap. He mostly focused on the Avengers theme. He seems to be taking the same approach here with Infinity War.
