Well, I officially love the screengrabs from the teaser teaser. Seen the official teaser about 6 times already as I work in my local cinema and always rush in during cap's end credits :D

Cap's mask pulls back like a hood when he's not wearing it, like Nite Owl.

Cool.

Cap

Cap looks amazing. One of the best superhero suits ever made. On another note, i dont like Thor's new suit. He looks a bit like a biker or a villain from Xena. I liked his dragonskin sleeves. Did they remove them to expose his biceps for the girls?

Thor's new sleeveless look is "ok", but I still like the armor from his solo movie MUCH better.

And they didn't bother releasing the full teaser today. WTF? Why release a half-assed version and not the real deal? I don't understand...

Kevin Fiege stubbed his toe this morning, he felt all Marvel fans should feel as mildly annoyed as him today.

I find all these comics about Thor's costume kinda amusing.... So making it look MORE like his classic costume is... a bad thing.... but it's a good thing for Cap?

I can hold off a little while longer as hopefully what they do release will have a lot of footage and cgi effects included i.e. Hulk.

I don't mind the changes in thors suit. Maybe they made it for mobility and comfort, makes better fight scenes.

Although I really liked Thor costume in his movie I do like the sleeveless look, not sure about the discs though, I think I prefer his movies version.

I also prefer his hair, beard and eyebrows in 'The Avengers', they all look alot more natural.

Also, I think people are blowing this way out of proportion... I think there MAY be a difference in how Thor wears his costume between when he's being crowned King of Asgard and when he's hanging around casually at the Helicarrier.

Several things... Firstly, whilst Thor's armor in the movie looked great in fight scenes etc, it did NOT look that great when he wore it capeless, in some of the more casual, Asgard scenes. The chain mail made him look very stiff and limited in his movement. This costume looks more relaxed and casual, for the actor as well as making it seem bit more earthy and real.

Secondly, in both the licensing the recently released concept poster, Thor has his chainmail and his cape. The mere fact that in this photo, he isn't wearing his cape when we KNOW he has his cape, clearly suggests that he isn't in his full battle outfit.

Seriously, it is nothing worth getting ones knickers in a knot over.

Exactly. Somehow it's okay that the Hulk looks like a 60's Kirby Hulk, but if Thor looked like his 60's Journey Into Mystery appearances, the Internet would break. ;)

I guess its a matter of taste.

I agree with you that he looks more relaxed in the Avengers suit.

Well, it's downright silly to think that someone would take a cape off while strutting (Thor, strutting hehehe), and puts it ON for battle...

..
Whew, being a pedantic troller is hard work! :woot:

I love how he looks in The Avengers. How can anyone complain at getting to see Hemsworth's arms. Plus he looks like he'll have much more mobility with his arms thus probably being able to do more action.

I always took it as Thor getting a new suit from S.H.I.E.L.D. as it looks nothing like Asgardian, imo.

My question is Iron Man...why does he have another suit with the round centerpiece?

I'm not a regular comic reader, but didn't Odin supply Thor with different armors before?

Exactly. I mean being upset that Thor isn't in his battle outfit all the time is like being upset that Tony isn't constantly in his Iron man suit. Doesn't make much sense.

Can't help but think of the German dude from Die Hard when I see Thor's new haircut.....

I prefer Thor's new suit than having him in regular clothes! He looks fine, and the longer hair makes him look even more badass.
