I don't miss the bulkiness or all that straps and whatnot at all. Although, I'm still mixed about this new suit (as much as I thought I was gonna love it). He looks too skinny in it.

I thought he looked skinny at first, but maybe that's just because we're too used to seeing him all super bulky in the TFA costume.

My other gripe is that the stripes come up too far on his chest. Oh and you can REALLY see that zipper.

We'll get the full effect when he's got his helmet on .... although I wasn't hot on that either.

In the video where all the Avengers are standing there, Cap looks a little bigger from that angle.

The costumes look just fine to me. I was hoping to see the Hulk, but as you said about early footage, they probably don't even have any effects done. I was actually surprised to see Iron Man flying, they must've finished that just for the teaser.

it is early footage, you're right. that didn't stop them to show it attached to a finished movie (cap) so everyone can see it. which means those producing the movie are pretty confident that this footage is good. It is not. It's the opposite. It looks cheap, terribly cheap.
and the reason for that are those godawful costumes. It's like the first green lantern trailer, you could see how they went into the completly wrong direction right into a disaster.
Don't get me wrong, maybe they are able to fix the problems, maybee they reshoot this part, maybe this movie is not the cheesfest it looks like right now. But there is no indication for that.
Almost a year ago I had a hunch TDKR would be a terrible, terrible movie. And look where we are now: We have a movie about BANE. B A N E !!!! And the Lazaraus Pit probably too. So it turned out that I was right.

Cap's new suit is awesome, Thor's one is... weird. I like the one in his solo movie more because it looks like it's based off of the modern costume costume. This one looks like some weird mix between the classic & modern suits.

I wonder if the amount of Thor in the trailer means if Marvel was extremely pleased with the movie's BO results...or if Thor's just the most filmed character so far. :P
