Thank you. King re-emerged as my literary hero when he said that.

seems most likely for the next big spot. I can't see them skipping it - they did have ads for Cap and during the last .

I understand how Rourke feels at the same time, I mean . . . I'm not sure what else could've been done or should've been accepted. It sounds like Rourke got paid and pretty much did whatever he wanted with the character. He talked about doing filming how he decided to improvise and just throw out the wine Justin Hammer gave him and call it ****. I would've liked more of Vanko, but Rourke is pretty much lucky to have a career at all at this point. He should be more grateful he got asked to do the movie since he's not done much since then except a POS with Megan Fox that no one saw and didn't even get released to theatres.

Well, it doesn't come out for 10 months. I doubt they've even finished shooting at this point.

Sure. I'm just a bit anxious. It's not the biggest project from what I'm hearing and though I love the costume for Dredd, I have to admit I think the Lawmaster pics out there seem to reflect that a bit. Though ultimately that doesn't matter if the finished product lives up to the name Dredd (and not phonetically lol).

Alexei, no one cares about your negative opinions about things they enjoy here. You're acting like a troll (though you most likely are one).

Seriously, you have NO ONE backing you up so what's the point of arguing? I can see arguing if there's multiple people on each side, but a whole thread vs one guy. What's the point?

Danoyse, for starters, publicly threatening me doesn't exactly add much needed maturity to the atmosphere of this thread. You shouldn't address me like a child. I've dealt with you before in the X-Men forum & your concept of moderating is pretty much "Stop having an opinion that doesn't sit well with others or I will punish you." Not exactly the best way to represent a message board as a moderator (if you ask me). Now, this is NOT the "Marvel Studios Support thread" where any negative comment about the studio is grounds for punishment. This is the "Avengers News & Speculation thread". Mickey Rourke recently spoke out on Marvel's poor judgment with IM2 & a poster here brought it up. I agree with Mickey. Most people here don't. You can't come after me the way you are because I agree with Mickey. I have the right as a poster here to dislike the way the studio is handling these movies. Posters here don't like that because they take my negative opinions on the MCU personally. You as a Mod can't possibly do so too.

Alexei, this isn't a danyose problem, this is a YOU problem. Ever wonder why you above everyone else attract the attention you do? It's not for your opinion of Marvel Studios, it is the way you conduct yourself. THAT is the issue. If you don't like mods calling you out on your poor conduct, then conduct yourself better. Plain and simple. You're allowed to have and discuss these opinions, but if you're going to do that, stop disrespecting everyone else who doesn't feel the way you do. Remember the golden rule, do unto others as you'd want them to do unto you.

As for everyone else, please move on to a new topic. No name calling, etc. This situation will be taken care of by mods.

I just realized:

In TIH, Banner was testing the radiation resistance of the SSS, right?

....

So doesn't that mean Banner TOOK the SSS?

Also, what's the name of that meme? I saw it before with the 'Throw Avengers through ALL the Windows!'

I think he took a variation of it, Steve Rogers is the only one in the MCU who had taken the true SSS.

Also, apparently IM3 is already looking for extras.

.....

Well that's early.

Not really Dragonator. The movie is coming out first half of 2013. 2012 is right around the corner.

I suppose they want people on hand waiting and ready. God I wouldn't mind knowing how to apply for that and be able to travel to where they're filming. I was an extra only once (by chance) and it seems like a really fun job.

Nah, I thought he was just working on a way to improve the human body's resistance to radiation.
Now, MAYBE, the Army gave him an initial starting point with whatever was derived from Steve's blood, but I don't think it was the SSS itself, nor the attempted reproduction that was given to Blonsky.
Some of the dialogue between Ross and Blonsky makes me wonder who else in MCU history has taken the blood derived SSS; Ross and company seemed to know what side effects to be on the look out for, either that, or they were going off of whatever info Erskine had about Skull's reaction to the prototype serum.

Who knows? Maybe the Avengers or the SHIELD movie will follow that up and suggest that Fury and Dugan have taken SSS derivatives and that's why they can be in both the WW2 and modern day MCU (although there's nothing to suggest currently that Fury was in WW2 in the current MCU to my knowledge).

Ah, that would be a good way to bring Dugan and MAYBE other Howlers into modern day, (but preferably just Dugan, it might lessen the whole blow of everyone Steve knows being dead)
Maybe Fury met Howard Stark right after WW2 and could've participated in the trials himself. (no supersoldier abilities, but well preserved a la the infinity formula)
Apparently they formed SHEILD together.

Yeah, Fury says Stark was a founding member and that he knew him. I agree that any more than Fury and Dugan in the present day (and not old men) is the right amount to bring back. Any more and it would really lessen the Cap 'man out of time' angle when he's got all his mates with him.

That my friend is the million dollar question....none of us know for sure yet!
