Does / Disney have the rights to FF from ?

They likely would have made an announcement, like they did with Blade and Punisher, if they had. Disney's been rumored to have a great interest in the FF, because of the family element.

The president of already that they are working on an FF reboot right now, so that can't be it. Though I fervently wish it were.

That was Poni spouting bullcrap, if I recall correctly. He got a bunch of 'exclusives' about casting and such and then said the studio lied to him.

Even though there would be jack **** reason for the studio to make him think a movie was in development when there wasn't one.

Does Marvel/ Disney have the rights to FF from Fox?

there's been no official announcement. Fox has had very minor (non official) "yeah we're working on it" for years now... in what appears to be a desperate attempt to hold onto rights... The F4, and DD franchises should all be reverting back to Marvel soon, and i expect them to.

there's a good chance 4/4/14 could indeed be the next installment of the Fan 4, and marvel just has to keep it hush hush till the final legal kinks are worked out with fox.

it's pretty believable that FOX would use that as a ploy to keep the rights

this is exactly what i was thinking.

They didn't make any public announcements, though, like they've done with Daredevil. Why would they choose to fool a random dude for a website with false information? It wouldn't benefit them in any way whatsoever.

Therefore, bull****.

im not talking about that "dude".

both the Fan4 and Daredevil franchises have had pretty petty "rumblings", that some tout as "announcements" when they're really not even green lit... they've all had the same "progress" announcements... saying they're looking for writers, or directors.. and what not.. or things as simple as "we're working on it" when in reality there's no progress what so ever. not to mention.. having a writer and director are only the first steps. Scripts and the directors attached can float around for YEARS...

so it's all very up in the air, and comes off pretty petty from FOX. I wouldn't put any of my eggs in their basket.

thinking about it now, F4 could be a very effective way to journey into the cosmic properties of marvel, just as they had noted that they wanted to do.

Haven't we known about the 3D conversion for months?

Pathetic news outlets like THE WRAP are reporting this announcements like it's news but SHH has had this around since like forever.

Whedon's spin doesn't really make me feel better about it. Converted movies still look like ****.

They already have a director for the Daredevil reboot. David Slade. It's in the writing stage now.

Wolvieboy said something about Hulk rolling an object into some aliens and yelling "strike" and Thor flying Cap up into the air, neither one of those scenes were in the trailer description that was a few pages back.

Also Fox hasn't said anything about Fantastic Four in forever.

RIMBreaks is the twitter's name account for this user who posts mostly confirmed rumours?

3D is just to boot international markets. If this were only being released in the US there's no way in hell it'd be 3D.

I saw video of Rothman where he said they're developing a script for F4 just a coupl3 weeks ago. It was in that interview where he made that idiotic statement about FOX just now figuring out how important a good script is.

It took FOX this long to figure that out ? This gives me no hope for WB & their Super Hero Movies anytime soon :o Unless the name Nolan is attached to it. The WB will screw things up. Case in point Green Lantern

Incorrect.

I mentioned Thor flying Cap to safety, which was mentioned in the description in the same part where it mentions Hulk catching a falling Iron Man. Don't know where you got the strike thing from.

Also, if Fox don't have an F4 movie seriously in production, the rights will be very close to reverting to Marvel/Disney, since it's been 4 years since they used the brand.
