When the Avengers comes out, audiences are to buy into the fact that all these characters: a god, a ww2 soldier, two master assassins, a technological genius and giant green monster exist in the same universe, and they are to save the world from the brink of destruction by an alien invasion that may possibly include a great sea serpent roaming around the big apple.

I can't see "AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!" being out place here. I really can't.

I'll admit that I think "AVENGERS ASSEMBLE" may sound corny (but it does depend on the delivery). However it is far too iconic to leave out.

Thus I think it should definitely be in the movie but I don't think it should be in the trailer. It will not help the trailer appeal to non-fans. It would be pure fan/fanboy service, and that isn't needed. All fans/fanboys who would want to hear that are already going to see this. That being in the trailer will not affect their incentive. In contrast the modern regular GA is VERY camp/corniness sensitive and may get turned off by it. And you don't want to put stuff in the trailer that would do that. The trailer needs to bring in as many non-fans as possible and not turn them away with bad dialogue, bad VFX, etc.

PS3 or Xbox? If it's the PS3 version then hope for a new patch to come before the game does for you. I've got it on PS3.... well you've probably heard already about the bugs and glitches. There's even parody vids of it now.

Don't get me wrong. It's a great game, though I don't believe it deserves GOTY even if you discount the glitches.
