The Avengers IMDB forum is a terrible place.
Fixed.
The Avengers IMDB forum is a terrible place.
I would think just a 30 second spot, the ad space is just so expensive. Iron Man did have a 60 second Super Bowl spot though so you never know.
I strongly doubt more than a hundred million Americans know there's an Avengers movie coming out.sure they could, but why would they? there isn't one person in the world who would watch the superbowl that is not already aware that an avengers movie is being made and that it comes out at some point in the near future. a superbowl spot would be a waste of money.
It costs $3 million per 30 seconds. I have no idea what THE AVENGERS marketing budget is but I suppose they could spend $6 million on a 1 minute Superbowl spot.
Disney pays for the spotsIf you compare it to last year Marvel had SB spots for Cap & Thor. With them only having 1 movie next year maybe they will spring for a 60 second spot.

It's worth the money. It's not just that the spot airs in front of a massive audience, but also that it's included in the conversation that following day. Radio shows, websites and whatever else use the SB ads to generate content.
Disney will have more than one movie to promoteI'm aware of that, not trying to be a smartass but what's your point?

where? on mars?Thats not true. There is hype for john carter

where? On mars?![]()
Good one.where? on mars?![]()
I think the movie has potential but when i saw the reaction at my movie theater for John Carter it was pretty bad
Same here. I always hear people talk about theatre reactions, but people in my theatre dont cheer or clap or anythingWhat is your definition of Pretty Bad? I haven't seen the audience react much to anything in years. I've been at the theater and seen trailers for movies that became giant hits and giant bombs...and seen no real reaction at all to both.
