your not the only one. Does anyone have a cryo stasis chamber that can keep a person frozen for 2 weeks so that I dont have to wait for the next trailer? Yeah sounds funny I can wait for the movie... but I need a new trailer first!!!!

I really hope we get some really cool easter eggs in Avengers like maybe more obvious references to Atlantis or Wakanda and maybe the names of other possible recruits on monitors or SHIELD files.

I have a good feeling that we'll see more Wakanda references, especially since there were some in IM2. If Dr Strange is really Marvels next new franchise, then we'll probably see a reference to him as well.

With Vibranium playing a role with two of the Avengers, we ought to hear about Wakanda in the movie. They also should at least foreshadow future appearances by Ant-Man and the Wasp, unless Marvel is planning to let Edgar Wright keep them trapped in development hell for another five years.

I read in a recent interview with KF that we would get hints at new Avengers since the roster will be different in A2. Besides Cap, Thor, & Tony I'd say the rest of the roster is up for speculation.

I'd post a link but I can't remember where I read it.

I imagine Ant-Man and Wasp will be in Avengers 2. Ant-Man may even change into Giant-Man to further increase his effectiveness.

If the Kree somehow fit into Avengers, maybe they can set up Carol Danvers as Ms. Marvel. She could be a SHIELD agent that gets caught in some-kind of Kree-caused explosion. She survives but starts exhibiting powers in Avengers 2. Having a super-powered SHIELD agent amongst the Avengers could cause some interesting story and personality conflicts.

Easter eggs are always cool and references to the Wakanda and the Black Panther seem like a natural. I'd like to see BP in a sequel, and Ant-Man and Wasp seem like they should be definites.

Yeah he did say that the core team is going to remain the same, he might consider Hulk as a part of the core Avengers team as well though (it sure seems like it).

That's assuming of course if RDJ comes back to play Tony Stark again since Iron Man 3 is his last contracted Marvel Studios film at the moment; and it's no cheap thing having him on board (assuming if he'd still be interested by the time Avengers 2 came out).


Also; this is just my own speculation, but I bet that after some kind of scuffle ensues on board the "hellcarrier" where Loki breaks free and the Hulk causes a mess....Thor, Iron Man, and Hulk go their separate ways temporarily from SHIELD, while CA decides to stay with SHIELD (along with Hawkeye and BW) and that the group doesn't get back together until a bit later in the film when they realize that they have to band together in order to stop Loki and his army.

Tbh, not all the midnight screenings these days are that much fun. Defenitely not as much fun as they used to be, lol.

They almost have to introduce Captain Marvel before Ms. Marvel, simply to give the latter her origin story. That's what I hope will happen since the Kree warrior is one of my all-time favorite characters. With Mar-Vell on the canvas, it would be an easy and interesting segue into Cosmic Marvel and the Guardians of the Galaxy.

I read that he was only signed on for FOUR at the moment, and like you mentioned, he threw in a cameo for TIH as a "favor" to Marvel. Chris Hemsworth and Evans are reported to be signed on for SIX though.
