You know what, I think it would be awesome if this happened.

Indeed; and based on everything that we've heard and seen, there's a strong chance that this could happen:

1. They've said on how Thor starts out wanting to deal with his brother on his OWN terms and how he may potentially look upon his Avenger Comrades as incompetent at first due to the class difference in their statuses (Asgardian Prince and Human Warriors), so after Loki breaks free, he may have gotten fed up with it and just leave, thinking that he can capture Loki by himself.

2. Hulk; well he's like one of the ultimate loners in the MCU so it's not hard to imagine as to why he would want to have some time and space away from the Avengers, let alone people.

3. Iron Man/Tony Stark said it best to CA when he said that he doesn't play well with others.lol

Plus, based on the set photos that we saw, where we see just CA, BW, and Hawkeye in gear and on the scene, I'm thinking that this is the case because the other three are elsewhere doing their own thing and that given CA being a military man, he stuck around with SHIELD. During the chaos of the battle, CA gets separated from Hawkeye and BW and ends up fending for himself, which results in Thor eventually coming to his aid,etc.

Just a thought: The scene in which Cap, Hawkeye and the Widow are going against ground forces happens after the Quinjet crashes, I believe. Thor and Iron Man fly, so they might well have been on the scene but in the air while the other three were engaged in ground combat. Lord knows what Hulk would be up to at the time, though he does catch Iron Man when the latter is shot down.

Can you guys believe that we may get our NEW (and supposedly ACTION PACKED) TRAILER sometime next week?

I hope it's early next week that we get it!!

They almost have to introduce Captain Marvel before Ms. Marvel, simply to give the latter her origin story. That's what I hope will happen since the Kree warrior is one of my all-time favorite characters. With Mar-Vell on the canvas, it would be an easy and interesting segue into Cosmic Marvel and the Guardians of the Galaxy.

I'd be cool with that, just keep it simple, no Rick Jones.

No, no Rick. But Mar-Vell is a must at some point. Especially if the Avengers are going to encounter Thanos since Mar-Vell was intimately tied to the Mad Titan. It will feel as if something is missing from the story if Captain Marvel isn't involved in a major way. His appearance would also potentially set up the Kree-Skrull War and other important stories.

Agreed, introducing Mar-Vell feels like the logical next step if they go the cosmic/Thanos route. And like you said its a way to also bring in Ms Marvel.

I just can't wait to see the NEW trailer next week (I hope that it's next week as suggested). I want to see A LOT more money shots in this new trailer this time around, and seeing some shots of Loki's army would definitely help since I don't think Marvel intends on keeping their identity a mystery until the film is released.

I believe I said this earlier, and I don't know if anyone commented on it, but I think it would be neat if Coulson was Vision in a human disguise. His demeanor most of the time would seem to suggest something vaguely android-like.

Your not the only one. Is there a way to be cyrogenically frozen until the trailer debuts? I hope to get a really good look at the Hulk as well as Lokis army. Could it be the Phalanx? Also when will we see a poster that shows the Hulk and not Banner?

I've always liked that idea. It would be such a surprise for people who have no idea who Mar-Vell is. Of course it might confuse some people as well.

Haha, I'd be cool with that as well, I just like the character Mar-Vell more. I'd rather them introduce Pym before they get to Vision, or just introduce both in Avengers 2.

Vision is great, and a must-add to future Avengers, but I'd hate like hell to see him introduced non-canonically before his creator(s), Ultron and Pym.

You're typing to an uninitiated here. The titles I always read were Spider-man and X-Men, with a few DC titles, like Catwoman, here and there. Aside from the cursory knowledge that Beast is an Avenger I don't know a thing about the Avengers comicbook wise. I have no clue what Mar-vell is.

i very much do not like this idea. but your thought process is similar to why i want him to be mar-vell. if you want to learn a little bit about some of these guys without going into too much detail and work check out their episodes in A:EMH, they do a pretty good job with everybody.

it kinda ruins vision to have him show up before ultron. his power set isn't THAT interesting, it's his history and character that set him apart.

Same here. If they had alluded to him doing mysterious things to make the viewing audience suspect that he wasn't what he seemed all the way since the beginning then the viewing audience wouldn't be thrown for a loop as it would look like something Marvel felt like throwing in from left field.

then that would be ****ing horrible because it would reduce arguably the greatest avengers villain to the role of fodder thug. ultron without hank pym is nothing.
