I saw "Thor" 5 times and "CA" 6 times.lol

So if "The Avengers" is really as great as we all hope, I plan on seeing it at least 4-5 times in Theaters.

Well done, but I beat you by 1; I saw THOR 5 times and CA:TFA 7 times! LOL. I think escaping to the MCU is now one of my fav pasttimes. As for THE AVENGERS I think the sky's the limit. If it is as good as I hope it may break my record of 8 times for X2.

Ha ha! Funny how they even include the all important Bullhorn with that figure!

How else would Agent Coulson announce to The Destroyer that it was using unauthorized weapons technology? :word:

One of the other toy sets mentioned that "The intrepid Agent Coulson" would be defending the earth with Iron Man. It's interesting that he gets his own figure and a mention along with the superheroes. That particular set has 10 figures, which includes the 6 heroes, of course, plus probably Loki, Fury, Coulson and a villain-to-be-named-later.

Watching Iron Man this morning as I start a MCU marathon for NYE. We all got so lucky that this was a huge hit, without it there is no Avengers movie. Thank you Marvel Studios for taking a chance on RDJ!

Yeah, you're totally right.
They've made alot of people very happy with what they've created.

Keep it up everyone at Marvel.

"Gullible humans," as your fake email so cornily put it.

Lmao. I only posted it cos I liked the story tbh, the dialogue was the only thing holding it back for me.

I wonder if the Loki figure will come with Avenger tossing action?

I'm also having a MCU marathon with some friends at home, leading to The Avengers. The only time I've been so many times to see a movie, was Spider-Man 2, which I saw 4 times, with different groups of people. Oh and Iron Man, 2 times. Almost forgot. I was this [ ] close to see Cap twice too.

a MCU marathon sounds like a decent idea before seeing Avengers.... same as seeing BB & TDK before seeing TDKR

I didn't see ONE of the Thor movie mini mate sets here :csad:
Agent Coulson had a Minimate figure when Thor came out. He even has his little bullhorn in hand.

These actors are not that great at complimenting their Film

Man, as bad as I'd want to have Red Skull take part in The Avengers, it just seems logical he would've been spotted on set at some point .... Yet, it would seem Loki would be the only person capable of bringing him back. I never got a sense from Weaving's interviews that he was all that interested in reprising the role though.

At the very least it would be awesome if we find out Loki crossed paths with him.

I don't understand why so many credible sites are posting articles about that. Even The Hollywood Reporter. They fail to realize that the HeroClix Avengers movie set includes figures from both THOR and CAPTAIN AMERICA movies, which is why they're claiming this is from The Avengers, when it's obviously from Captain America: The First Avenger.

At least it'll make people more surprised when they actually go see the movie.

Well, not if his scene(s) we're shot in the New Mexico studio. I seriously doubt he's in the film but there's a possibility at least.

Even though it wasn't a person.... so to speak they were able to keep the Hammer sequence at the end of IM 2 a complete secret until the premier........................

Yup, shot in the middle of a deserted area I believe. I'm pretty sure they didn't have much problem with spy shots and the like. :yay:

See I gave that some thought before ..... but everyone else who was in New Mexico was spotted while out for dinners and things like that. If he was there, then it was for a brief moment and we can deduce that he's not a major part of the movie. I'll take what I can get though, even if it was just one scene.

I think people would know that Hugo Weaving was in town... especially in such a small place.

I sat down and saw Thor 17 times in a tow n DVD, didnt get a shot to see it in theaters, I wish I had though

I've seen Thor 17 times on DVD/Blu-Ray as well, which brings my total to "20" since I already saw it 3 times in theaters.

I really don't think they'd keep the Red Skull a secret, the point of keeping the bad guys or bad guy a secret is b/c it'll be the first time we see them in the MCU.

Yeah, but Heroclix already issued movie-specific figures back in the summer to coincide with the movie releases. I don't think they'd just repackage the Thor and CATFA movie packs and say, "OH LOOK, AVENGERS MOVIE PACK." Heroclix players aren't *that* oblivious to paying for the same product twice.

Plus, it's worth pointing out that Heroclix is also currently promoting a Guardians of the Galaxy line (possibly Marvel Studios' next big non-sequel project), which prominently features the lovable, huggable Thanos.

I've only seen Thor & Cap once. :0

I really need to get the DVDs of those two & IM2 before the week that Avengers comes out. I already have IM & TIH on DVD.
