That's what I thought. Until I watched it. It's a beautiful and very touching movie about the history of film made by one of the greatest directors of our generation. I have no idea why they marketed it to kids, cause neither of mine understood a damn thing going on haha

I read up on it in wikipedia and I have a general idea of what it's about. That's why I know that I'm not interested in it.

I know I'm not the only one who has spoken out about it. Also I'll say again that I really think it would behoove a every News/Speculation thread to have a top post that lists all the definitive facts and rumors that have both been confirmed and debunked. That way the speculation evolves forward logically instead of going in circles while newer people catch up.

FAQ threads are nigh impossible to maintain since the threads reset every few days at peak activity and once they do you can't go back and edit them. I ran into that last year when I was collecting Thor reviews.

I do believe its his best movie perhaps since Age of Innocence.

That said, 3d gives me headaches. Im not exagerating. I tried it several times, and i just cant deal with it. So its 2d for me; fortunately i live in a big city where there are both options available.

This is my problem:
I just asked if my speculation was right and try to sum it up the best way I can. If it irritates you, you should do something about it (like point me in the right direction) rather than being sarcastic about my comment wich only makes us talk about something else instead of The Avengers movie wich in turn stops the conversation instead of moving it forward.

1) Stop reaching for no reason, will confuse people. There are 1,000,000 options to explain every aspect of this movie if you throw comic book and franchise canon out the window. It's completely unnecessary.

And that statement when taken completely out of context from the conversation sounds harsh. But in the context of the conversation it makes complete sense. I never said "don't speculate", just do it within reason.

We are five films into this franchise with the sixth one coming out in a month. It's not like we have NO information t go off of to make assumptions. There has to be some rationale applied to the current speculation, no? If not you send up with pointless debates.
