According to Variety, Flash appearing in this film is a done deal.

So who should play The Flash?


My personal choice for Barry would be Dan Stevens from Downtown Abbey and The Fifth Estate.

He has leading man potential if Flash gets a solo franchise.

The suit looks much better in action. The head looked oddly big in the promo art but looks fine in the filming pics.

I think the suit, in action, looks atrocious. Not a fan at all.

I know there's going to be effects when he's running, but ughhhh not my cup of tea ill tell you that. With the CW network, im not surprised.

Arrow Season 2 is nothing (NOTHING) like Smallville or any other CW show.

I just don't know why it's so hard to give Flash boots that look like something you'd actually run in. You know, with an upward curved toe at least. WB and DC keep making new incarnations, yet they don't give the runner running shoes, instead he always has combat boots.

That probably won't be the only version of the costume we'll see. They will most likely upgrade it as the series goes on. That said, I don't mind it, but I'll reserve judgement till i see it on the screen.

Arrow Season 2 is nothing (NOTHING) like Smallville or any other CW show.

Although it's significantly better than season 1, it's still very CW.

I do like the brighter red better and while I was very excited earlier from the official pic then Highly letdown by these setpics I'll remain optimistic I really hope the show is good and it's possible the suit will look better when it's in action.

This. I'm not too happy with some of the design elements (belt desperately needs an upgrade in the future, but that's the only thing I genuinely hate about it, anything other opinions I have aren't strong enough to be more than nitpicking) but I'm not gonna judge too much based on set photos that have no post work put into them and aren't shot at flattering angles, simple fact of the matter is that unless you're Henry Cavill your on set spy pics aren't gonna be as impressive as the final product after post. If the suit is still unimpressive when seen on tv then I'll start complaining.
