Is there a reason why Chris Nolan changed it (it's more a rigid shape than round batwings)? Was it due to copyright reasons, or he wanted to revamp the whole thing along with everything else?

One of my favorite parallels from B89/BB.

We can't be using the same symbol fo revery single Batman movie.
The new symbol also represents a different take on Batman.
It also looks cooler than the original.

The BB/TDK logo is meant in many ways, to represent Nolan's take on Batman.

Less fantastical, more brutal and basic. Ball to the Walls.

The symbol has no curves really... as a result it looks more deadly and intimidating.

the BB/TDK symbol is cooler in your opinion...

I think if you want a darker, crazier, scarier Batman, he can't talk as much as Bale has in those movies...

He's all about form & his appearance & he's supposed to be a presence. Talking to everyone makes him less mysterious...

although in the Nolan movies, they actually gave him a lot of situations where he kinda had to talk, so I guess in those movies it was necessary

they say there is never a stupid question, only stupid people. . . I think there is both. . .

Yea, cause I look at all your guys' ******** threads on here. You guys all clearly have a problem. Analyzing the most stupidest **** ever. Like asking 'Why the name Dark Knight?"

WTF?! Who Cares, if they named it the 'Dark One' you'd still question it. I dont know if you are all 12 year old virgins on here or living in your parents basement kind, but your all too weird.

So how the hell are you going to go question 'why did he change the symbol'... so stupid

Bold AND pompous! And judgmental, and elitist. Holier than thou, looking down on others, vulgar unnecessary language; I'm waiting to see your new posts to behold more of your charming personality, I'm almost getting anxious. Not sure where that came from -- you shouting at me as if anyone was implying you look at everyone's threads, or how that is even relevant.

My all too weird what?

The "12 year old virgins with no girlfriendz living in your parent's basement" insult response is too cliche, a low blow and to be expected. Please, try and be a little more original if you're going to go that route.

"WTF WHO CARES"

You obviously did -- you read the title, clicked the thread, read the post and took the time out to reply and even display your anger with expletives. I'd say you care a great deal, or else you'd ignore the topic. You admitted to not looking at everyone's [exploitative] threads here, yet you have shown us that we "all have problems".

Nice cliche.

I like this symbol more...And...Nolan didn't make it...It's the Batman Beyond symbol...Essentially...

Let's make a comparison here.

People who are passionate about a HARMLESS and CREATIVE, ARTISTIC hobby getting together in an online forum to discuss their shared hobby.

VS.

A bitter person whose hobby seems to be insulting and mocking others for their hobby. A person who hates himself to the degree that he takes it out on complete strangers on the Internet without provocation or reason.

Which is worse?

Not hard to see.

'Hood
