i don't really want him to be bats. i just put his name out there. probably in ten years, kinda like cavill for returns. i want gosling to play bruce wayne.

as far as mags, he would dwarf cavill, maybe if hammer was supes, he'd be an ideal bats.

This only matters to diehard fans. i really don't see this as a problem. Lifts and camera tricks has been noted in threads like this probably 100s of times. Height is not as important as you think it is. Now if was something like that Justice League Mortal movie where Superman is 5'9 and Batman is 6'5, then its a problem, but really 6'1 and 6'5 is not a problem

The height difference isn't that big of a deal anyway. If Cavill is 6'1" and Mags is 6'5" they can easily work around that to make them look the same height or make Cavill look taller.

I'm not sure Mags is right for Batman, but I like him well enough so I'd be cool with it. I think he's better suited to Hawkman though.

Yeah, he'd be perfect for Carter (or Katar, which is the Hawkman I'd actually prefer, even if I'm the only one).

Joe has more of an intimidating and unfriendly presence about him, looks too strong, which is more Hawkman.

Bruce Wayne has that to an extent, but sadness and emotion lie beneath the surface, I don't think Joe could portray that as good for some reason.

Yeah, the trick to Bruce Wayne is finding someone who has can portray inner darkness while maintaining his heroic nature. It's more difficult to find in an actor than many people think. People assume casting Batman is easy because most actors could look like Batman in the right costume. But there's a lot more to it than that.

good for you. but its not just the height. he just looks like he'd be bigger in general in comparison to cavill. tatum is about cavill's size. even if the camera is closer to mags you can tell he's just a much bigger dude.

Cavill's so near damn perfect for Superman it's hard to imagine anyone else playing the role now. I was never really sure about Hammer's look (facially) for it, I didn't really get why he had so many supporters. I don't think he looks anything like Superman as he's often drawn - maybe I'm blind.

Maybe, but we already have an actor who will (hopefully) be a great Superman.

i liked him for supes for the same reason people seem to hate the idea of him as batman. he's got the big blue boyscout thing going for him. he's a bit more lantern headed. plus the voice and the size. and while not necessarily latern jawed, he's got more of the square head, as opposed to the more angular face i prefer a bruce wayne to have. kinda like this.

but yeah. we've already got our superman. and I'm perfectly happy with cavill.

all i know is hemsworth aint 6'5 like his profile says because tatum is like 6'0

never met him, but he looks to me to be about a weak 6'3. that 6'5 might have been hype for thor since thor is supposed to be 6'6.
