To be fair to you wolfie, it does look different and despite what I posted, I still wouldn't know how the hell do the wheels turn into the turbines. They might just look similar because they share the same style of design so that Batman's arsenal looks more streamlined.

Let's enhance this CSI style!

I think it's the same shoot, Batman is in the Batmobile and the other vehicle, batwing? is controled by other one? Or did I miss something?

Well that is the point I was making too.

Like I said, different cockpit. It is not the batmobile.

Cockpit looks different, the back looks different and it is very noticeable that what was considered to be the same turbo exhaust from the batmobile, is not. On batmobile it has the upside down "U" shape and that part on the aircraft (whatever it is) has a perfect "O" shape.

Those are completely different vehicles, which, as you said, share similar design.

Desperately wanting to believe that Affleck's Batman doesn't kill, so far I've come up with three theories:

1. Those were rubber bullets and something else blew up the car.

2. Batwing was hacked by someone, like that "drone pilot" that is listed on IMDB and that some people thought might be Steve Trevor.

3. Wonder Woman is piloting (it seems that the location from her official photo is the same one where batfleck in trailer happens to be).
Why Wonder Woman would like to kill them tho and in Bats vehicle. Obviously it's the option 2. And you noticed that Batman is in the same scenario with the batmobile. He can't be in those two places in the same time :sly:

my guess is Batman is driving the Batmobile and, as someone brought up, the Batwing/drone got hacked and is actually trying to shoot the Batmobile down

notice the explosions going off around the Batmobile

Agreed. It does seem like it is in the same scenario. It actually made me feel relief when I realized that.

I assumed it could be Wonder Woman, as she is the only one that comes to mind that could assist Batman and doesn't have a problem killing. But who knows, I'm just glad it's not Bats.

If I may add another piece of evidence..

Exhibit C:

IMDb Cast List

Notice there's a Dan Amboyer cast as a 'Drone Pilot'.

Whilst Alfred's words hint that Batman has become more cruel and is in danger of tipping over the edge, which could account for the drone killing people. The scenes do suggest the Batmobile is under attack from that drone too. Grace Randolph from Beyond the Trailer suggested it could be Carrie Kelly as Robin who's piloting the aircraft and it's a 'Team Batman' attack?

Edit: Just noticed KillerWolf mentioned the Drone Pilot on the previous page.

Interesting...

Batman needs a versatile vehicle so he can join Supes and WW when they start flying off. I believe the Batmobile and Batplane /wing are one. At least it would be cooler that way :)

I am not sure he's talking about Superman...all evidence (spy pics) leads us to believe he's talking about Batman

Why would they show Bruce, if talking about Superman?
Might as well show Lois if that was the case.

He might be talking about people's reaction to Superman, but it is not the accident they have shown angry and depressed Bruce looking at the batsuit during this monologue.

How do you get Superman out that?

just watch the trailer. it does not make sense either that alfred, batman's friend and ally, would condone batman turning cruel. it would be fitting to point bruce wayne to the possibile scenario of ungrateful people turning superman into something cruel.

Bruce does plenty of things without Alfred's consent...but if you look at the history of Batman in comics there was a specific event that caused him to grow cruel and it may be alluded to in this film but one of the spy pics showed it off. Something traumatic happened to Bruce and it made him cruel...and weary and tired.

The trailer makes it sound like he's talking about Bruce, but he could be talking about anybody.

Probably Bruce, though.

That makes even less sense. As Bruce's surrogate parent, mentor and ally. It's his job to inform Bruce when he's close to stepping over the edge. I don't see how he would be condoning any act of cruelty. More that he's warning him the greater the rage and feeling of powerlessness (just like when he lost his parents) the more he may become cruel. A major caveat. I know trailers often splice together unconnected scenes and dialogue. However, I think it's a deliberate narrative here to hint strongly where this Batman is and where he may be heading..

I agree. Charles Roven's comments about this Batman being extremely rough fits in with Alfred's comments. Superman is shown as wielding absolute power, it wouldn't make sense for Superman to be in a position where he feels rage and powerless. Not in this film anyhow. The same could be applied to Lex Luthor and other humans but it's clearly aimed at Bruce.

I've already said this in another thread, but powerless doesn't have to mean physical power, it could be about his position. And since people are turning on Superman, Alfred may be scared that he can become cruel and turn on the people he tried to save.

Hell, it could be about Lex, for all we know.

Whoever was Alfred actually talking about in the film itself the fact that they have shown Wayne looking at batsuit is not an accident. So in that context it was referring to Wayne/Batman. You know how trailers work guys, lines often get a bit different meaning depending on what is trailer trying to "say".

My theory:
He's talking about Bruce.
Joker kills Robin. This pushes Bruce over the edge and makes him cruel...just like in the comics.

That's a good point. Batman, Lex and humanity may feel 'powerless' in that Superman wield absolute power both physically and with his following. Superman conversely may feel powerless in regards to stopping these cults and followers who treat him as a god rather than be inspired to action by his deeds. So there's a possible duality involved.

Although it's clear the trailer refers to Batman in this regards.
