Oh, no, I'm not saying the black belt looks bad, I'm just saying I prefer a more traditional color scheme for it, especially on your suit, since it creates a more striking visual contrast.

Looking at these manips just ticks me off even more that Nolan didn't go this route. Hopefully the reboot when it happens doesn't follow the same route Nolan took. It's almost 25 years Batman's been wearing a black rubber suit. His costume was long overdue for a makeover since Schumacher's imo.

But the manips look great Mister Meddle.

I think the black belt looks great on the manip. Earlier today I read pdf versions of Detective Comics 27 - 36 and noticed he had a black belt in some of the issues. Plus a number of people were saying how Batman should have a black belt so I decided to do that. But I'm with you, I like it better w/out the panties and with a yellowish belt.

It's definitely better without the trunks. Though I think a brown belt would be better, but the black looks good.

Thanks. And I completely agree. For years people were saying that a comic accurate Batsuit would look "silly" and "unrealistic". If anything the manips show that a comic accurate Batsuit could look a hundred times more realistic than Nolan's jigsaw rubber suit. Plus it would make it a lot easier for the actor to act. And most importantly of all it would make Batman actually look like Batman!

EDIT: If it's not too much trouble, I'd like to see what your suit would look like if you added a chest plate/vest (the kind that you see in a lot of Batsuit manips, but tweaked to fit in with your established aesthetic) with the bat symbol on it.

I almost forgot about the spikes, thanks. the cape is going to hang over the shoulders so it should cover the white lines. Little update. I'll make the suit slightly darker next time.

Yeah exactly. This is the way I always envisioned a live action Arkham Batsuit. Except have the ears, gauntlets, emblem, etc. scaled down so everything wouldn't look so exaggerated. As much as I like the rubber Arkham suit that somebody posted a few months back it's quite different than what I had in mind.

That looks really good. But I'm not a fan of spandex. It looks like a suit that could've been used in a 70's or early 80's Batman film. But it's really cool to look at because it looks just like Batman from the comics.
