That would have looked amazing next to Chris Reeve's Superman. But times have moved on, so has costume design and manufacturing techniques.

Exactly. I was thinking the same thing. Which is the reason I said it looks like it could've been used in a 70's or early 80's movie.

Yep, as I said, it wouldn't be right for a live action movie here and now, but it is a brilliant literal realisation of the classic comicbook design.

Love that cowl. Little creeped out by the Robin.

I was about to say Robin looks a little creepy.

Yeah no kidding, about the cape. Now that's the way it SHOULD be in the Nolan films.

Is it just me or does he look even creepier the longer you look at the photo. :shock

Batman looks like he should be arrested standing next to robin there.

Yeah this one.

All those images do for me is reaffirm that if you're going to do spandex or anything like spandex you need the actor to be supremely bulked up. Otherwise he's just going to look twiggy like Adam West. And that's never a good thing.

Clark Bartram (Batman Dead End) was the only person that looked good in a spandex Batsuit (no, not like that lol). Because of his mass.

I don't like it. It seems to have all of the problems of the Keaton/Kilmer/Clooney suits, but with the addition of really ugly gauntlets and horrid colour blocking with a chrome effect.

That's the Batman Live suit, right? Eh, I really dislike it. Just let go of the bulky rubber suits already.

More like Robocop to me. That suit looks TOO bulky. Is that supposed to be the Batmobile?
