What do you guys think of this?

Better looking than TDK suit. :oldrazz:

That actually reminds me of TDK suit but even still less ugly and busy.

Honestly, Practical and faithful as it may be. It would still look very silly on film.

I'd say the GI Joe is a better starting off point, while that suit looks good, I just don't think it will work now, but it would have looked amazing next to the Superman Returns suit in that JL: Mortal film that never came to fruition.

The GI JOE suits are just very toned down suits similar to TDK suit that look a little cheaper quality.

This is what the Batsuit should look like.

lmao. Seriously, why the f**k would he be wearing trunks over thick, non-spandex material? And if they aren't seperate trunks, why are they a different color?

I get that some are stuck on the little things, but really, I doubt he's in danger of flashing his junk here or being immodest. If that's the case, men in slim/tailored suit bottoms and khakis or slacks should be wearing trunks as well (hell, it might be a public service for guys in skinny-jeans)

Does there have to be some sortof utilitarian explanation for why that portion is colored differently from the rest of the suit?

Yes, because it looks f*****g ******ed. It's neither protecting his modesty nor is it conveying the image of a circus strongman, which would look equally ridiculous nowadays. Why don't you walk around in a pair of jeans that are dyed to appear as if you're wearing briefs on the outside and tell me bow much of a badass tortured vigilante you feel like.

Not sure when you all fell in love with ugly Halloween/Party City quality costumes.

I'm not a huge fan of the idea of the Arkham City suit being translated into live action but that suit above is definitely not just some "ugly Halloween/Party City quality costume". It looks professionally done and just as good as the 4 I posted. Put that in a film with a visual identity and lighting and I doubt it would be as bad as people are saying.

I don't like it at all. The Arkham suit isn't supposed to be a rubber attire and many elements of the suit were meant to be exaggerated for the game. Such as the very long ears, over sized gauntlets, fat utility belt, bulky size, etc. Make the proper adjustments for a live action film and use appropriate material for the suit. IMO it should look something like this.

Hahah! How did anyone ever think that that design was acceptable?

A toned down TDK suit is what I would like. I think BB has had the best so far, it was just too thick, TDK made some modest improvements at the expense at many failures, in my opinion.

The legs are beyond terrible. Mobility my ass, that is just some random fancy dancy design. No wonder the so called "plates" fold like thin leather.

This reminds me of Batman Inc suit. This looks great but the neck kind of bothers me.
