Yeah, I gotta agree. I mean I do agree with the concept they were going for, but I don't understand most of the shapes they used.

I know I tried altering the =m for a Robin manip, but I think I got bored of it and left it unfinished.

The Arkham suit kills all of those Batsuits combined. At least it doesn't look like a big piece of rubber or multiple pieces of ugly. Take the Arkham suit and picture it being made by professional costume designers with an actual budget. THAT would look beyond beautiful.

When fans here use the fan suits in comparison to the big budget professionally made suits, yes, I will continue on with the comparison.
In case you missed it, I said I liked most of the fan manips using Captain America's suit as a base, because they don't look like cheap crap.

You're right, the Arkham suit looks ugly in different ways.

Take the Arkham suit and picture it being made by professional costume designers with an actual budget. THAT would look beyond beautiful.

Ironically, they could have easily worked into the TDK design something on the leg and pelvis area that would have been evocative of the trunks while being more believably mobile than what they ended up doing.

TDK suit is ugly plain and simple, I will never understand anyones admiration for it, they should have draped the cape over it more through the film..... Oh wait it dosent drape enough to cover it, ya the suit is horrible.

I've said it many times But I'll say it again..Batman Returns suit is MY favorite Bat suit on film,IF the next director or WB still insists on the suit being black for the next film(reboot confirmed)then I sure hope they make it very similar to the Returns suit!!

IF they FINALLY go the"more comic accurate"route(besides the 60's film)I've already said that I'd like the Arkham games suit(with tweaks to the gauntlets)But IF doing the traditional movie black suit concept then Returns suit used as a template would get my vote!

Lol, they always do that. I mean, they also changed Spider-man suit from movie to movie. Yes, the spider was 0.000006 cm longer and the red was 0.00045 more red.

In the end they were asked the same suit but they had to justify their big fat checks.

Contextually, it just doesn't make any sense why Batman would still be using a near-decade old suit. They talked about the BB suit being dated in TDK and that was only a few years difference. Surely, there would be a lot more tech upgrades to warrant a new suit close to a decade later.

The rubber suit look started with Burton and it should've ended with Burton when he left the franchise. I want to move forward not be stuck in the past. That's the mistake Nolan made. This movie ignores everything that came before it. He makes a realistic looking Gotham and gives Batman a tank instead of a sleek car but gives a Batman black rubber suit? that doesn't even look that good. No wonder people thought BB was a prequel to the Burton/Schumacher franchise. I want the reboot to move forward in every dept. not just in costume. It's a shame most costumes in cbms between Spidey 1 and CA:TFA have been more faithful and better looking than both of Nolan batsuits, imo.

I ain't talking about the material,rubber/latex/tights/armor or whatever..I just love the design,The yellow oval symbol/cape/cowl&ears are perfect to ME and I overall like the rest!!!

I still prefer comic colors of grey&black But IF there going to continue with the all black formula then I'm just personally hoping for the Returns design with some tweaks,IF you don't agree then that's your own OPINION!!

I don't like it at all. The Arkham suit isn't supposed to be a rubber attire and many elements of the suit were meant to be exaggerated for the game. Such as the very long ears, over sized gauntlets, fat utility belt, bulky size, etc. Make the proper adjustments for a live action film and use appropriate material for the suit. IMO it should look something like this.

bigger bat symbol, thicker actor and Im all for this.
