Me too. That almost subliminal hint of blue makes it particularly striking.

Maybe it's just me, but I've never thought the blue caped version of batman "goes" well with the black bat emblem. The blue version goes with the yellow oval and the black bat goes with the black cape and cowl.

Eh. Both ways are fine with me. I personally don't mind blue cape with black emblem, but everyone has an opinion.

I've always felt this way, too. I think that if you're going with the black emblem, the black cape and cowl are preferable.

I'd like to see the oval anyway, just for a change of pace, so a costume with that shade of blue and the oval would be pretty class.

I think the real problem is that we'd at least like to SEE the frikkin' emblem in the first place!

With all the black rubber suits, there's no contrast!! You know the Bat insignia is there....But its hard to see black on black....

The wish they would go back to being faithful to the dark grey and black.......

Yeah, I love Vigilant's work. If the real suit doesn't look at least partially similar to his manips, I'm sure I'll be disappointed on some level.

This is my favorite so far.. Good lord would I LOVE to see something like this.
If I was to be completely honest though? The belt.. Desaturated it, or change it to a darker color .. Between the colors of the gray suit and black.

Then.. It would be spot on for me.
Only time will tell..

I'd never seen that image in colour before! I'd kill for an on-screen Batman that "felt" like that one. I have the B&W Mignola statue and it's one of my favourite possessions.

hmm.. i don't mind it. but i think it'd be cool if we got a cowl that moves a bit with Ben's face.

I don't like how wrinkly his brows in the Vigilant images. I want something more simplified and stylised, like the previous movies and more recent Arkham games (not the first two) have done it.

I think the Origins cowl has a pretty ideal brow sculpt.

I like a flexible cowl.

I Fleck'd a sequence from Zero Year to show what I mean- he can show surprise and worry here, which would be tough with the fixed angry look.

If we get a hard cowl that's fixed in one position, I prefer it like this:

"I don't always get angry. But when I do... I prefer my brow to look like this."-- The Most Interesting Super-Hero in the World

I personally agree that the Vigilant mask is a little too angry. But it has nothing on the Noel mask, where Bats looks like he's just ****ting his pants the whole time. Permanent beastmode Batman is borrrrring.

I love this image. Very unique, yet fitting for the character.

As for the question about furrowed brows: I like a bit of that with the cowl, but some designs go overboard with it.
