I hate to say this (for the sake of pissing off the Nolanites), but this kind of blows away every batsuit ever made... and we're just looking at it in monochrome.

Well, my kneejerk reaction is "Well, that's definitely one big, fake, weird looking muscle suit."

I feel like they sort of did everything I wanted, but did it in a style I'm not sure I care for. More complete thoughts to follow later, when I'm not at work.

Eh I don't like the belt. It's like the Nolan belt. It looks high tech but doesn't look like it'll hold much. I was really hoping for the pouch belt and for Batman to carry a fricken arsenal.

They look like pouches to me. The fact that they're all different sizes is great because he'll be able to fit a number of different tools in there. Including shark repellent.

my only complaint is that.. since its ben affleck... and ben affleck's Chin will mostly be also making an appearance.. he should be wearing an appropriate ben affleck chin guard.

Gordon prior to chin guard- *suspects something* "That chin looks awfully familiar... Where have i seen that CHIN before?! "

Gordon after chin guard *doesn't suspect anything because Batman is wearing the appropriate Chin guard*

I would have liked the yellow emblem to make a return but the suit still looks fantastic! I love the belt to be honest. The pouches are all different sizes which is a nice detail.

I've always been very picky about the design of the belt, so it doesn't surprise that I'm not in love with the one we got. It's not a big deal.

I hate to say it, but the suit won't do it for me completely if the bat-symbol isn't prominent.

Finally the suit is here. I like how the lines are simple and the textures so detailed (like the MoS suit).

I've been processing it for long enough. Here's my take:

As others have already said, the texture of the suit has a somewhat weathered look to it; and I like that a lot. The gloves and the chest-mounted symbol look good as well. If I could change anything, I'd probably go with slightly longer ears on the cowl in addition to white lenses + a yellow/gold belt.

Understandable. I think it would have looked a bit cooler if they went with a bit of yellow.

I am sold. Looks like a less buff miller mixed with Jim Lee New 52.

(It doesn't look like hush at all, apart from the small ears.)

It looks like we're back to a one piece cowl/neck area. Does that mean we're back to not being able to turn his head? I hope now. I just need to see this in color to get a better idea of materials, and I'm sure we all can't wait to see it IN MOTION.

I love it. My only complaint is that it's not in color. Do we know for sure if it's black and grey yet? This is awesome.

Or charcol and regular gray at best that's what I'm leaning towards
