Oh, for christ's sake... it takes some doing to get me tired of the banality! But jaysuz this gets me close. There were some eariler posts that commented on the shrugged look as seen in the trailer when he steps from the rubble and JPosters pic in particular. Just observing here that the neck is, as you say, all frig'n there.

For the record.. Ironhead had nothing to do with the Superman suit for BvS..
The work was done by Film Illusions, owned by Russ S.
You can ask that "friend" of yours, and he will tell you.

Film Illusions was involved with MoS.. Creating the female Kryptonian armor.
And for MoS the Superman suit, and Black fabric/muscle suits were created by Frontline..
Jor-El's non fighting armor by Ironhead.

Ironhead was only involved with Batman and Wonder Woman for BvS..

Upon closer inspection of the suit what people thought were muscle veins on it are just folds in the fabric to give it that weary aged look which is a unique take as opposed to having yet another rubber Bat-suit.

But it's the exact same photo that was in the officially released imax poster (with the S logo over it). And the neck looks fine anyway.

Here's the thing there is so much more going on visually in the teaser psoter that distracts from the neck area, it's also cut-off closer around the head so you can't get a good perspectives of the proportions of the whole suit:

I think they wanted that shot for the purpose of its use in this promo poster but not to be released on its own.

A shorter neck would make some sense seeing as the poster is just a close-up of Batman's very upper chest and head. However it looks somewhat off when his full shoulders and lower part of his torso are visible.

The neck of the suit should appear more like in the image released by Snyder and not the leak that came from the above image.

To this day, I find the worst thing about the BB suit to be the rubber kitchen gloves.

The TKR suit was a disaster, but as far as rubber suits go the BB suit is not without merit. I don't ever want to see a black rubber suit again, but this is one of the better BB test pics and it doesn't bother me how the neck looks here. It did bother me when the abdomen folded because that was supposed to be plate armor.

Honestly, if it weren't for the Hype, I probably never would have noticed those things about the BB suit. It just doesn't bother me as much. To me, the pictures make things more noticeable than the actual film. I still like it a lot. If the BVS suit was black cape on all dark grey suit like BB, it would have been the perfect Batman suit to me.

It was black/black, but due to the different textures it was still technically black over gray. Sadly it didn't even look right.

This is legitimately a color debate I cannot believe we are having. The Nolan suits were black. All black. That light reflected differently off different textures is no technicalilty.

There is no gray area in this debate.

It wasn't a debate. I was merely pointing out during certain scenes it was lit in a way that gave the effect of a gray body draped in all-black. I'm well aware of their actual hue.
