theres also no bat logo on the chest

Yes, there is. Look closely. It looks the same color as the rest of the suit because it's dusty. But yes, there absolutely is a bat symbol on the chest.

Whew! Some of y'all's theories are a bit ... far-fetched. Imaginative, yes, but kind of out there.

Doubt it. It looks like the stunt double. And there's no way anyone would get their hands on his actual cowl and suit(it's the same suit as well, not just the cowl). There's also no reason for a Batman impersonator being there. And then, you have to consider the soldiers with Superman insignias, as well as this being in the context of Superman and Batman's "war".

Also, I certainly hope there is no Damian Wayne in this universe.

Exactly. Why is it so clearly stunt double when they could easily CGI Ben's face there? If it's an oversight, it's a rather large one, especially given Snyder's attention to detail.

I already mentioned suit and cowl - it didn't make any sense in TDK for the guy to have same cowl either. And suit does look more flabby, as it is not really an armor.

Whether there's reason or is not, we don't know now do we? I do admit that it is a bit of a forced theory, but I wouldn't write it off yet.

Ok. It's the same guy who's in the suit when Batman is fighting the guards, same when he's grappling away. None of those look like Ben. None. But they are all action sequences, sequences that Ben Affleck might not have shot (he's probably in close up shots in these scenes, though). All of these scenes are those that would require stunts (as they are action scenes), stunts that Ben Affleck wouldn't be doing himself. And this scene probably isn't just Batman being held down by these soldiers. He's probably actively fighting these soldiers, meaning - again - stunts. The suit looks flabby when Affleck is wearing it in the teaser trailer. It folds the same way when the stunt double is wearing it on the Suicide Squad set. It's the same suit, and has never looked like armor. It doesn't make any sense for a Batman impersonator to have the same suit, gloves, cowl, and belt as Batman. That's just not believable. Why would a Batman impersonator happen to be fighting people with House of El shields on their arms at the same time that Batman is fighting Superman? How would they even know that Batman and Superman would fight? And what possible purpose could that serve for the story? This movie is about Batman fighting Superman, not a Batman impersonator fighting Superman impersonators.

Wow..that's exactly it! What's that from ?

I don't think the suit is "flabby". I think its meant to be worn. He's wearing cargo pants for goodness sake. It's a suit that he's had to wear for a long time, and its worn down, just like him. Its an extreme version of the worn and weary Batman he'll be at the start of the film.

I think it's not just that, but what "war" with Superman will lead to.

It's just the way the last "ab" on the suit is sagging over onto his belt. That looks really weird

Suit looks weird/loose probably because its stuntflecks suit. The stunt suits are always more loose than the real ones.

Also it's a muscle suit tucked into cargo pants, come on...

I know why, I'm just saying it shouldn't be like that. Maybe I'm being picky..just as long as those types of things aren't noticeable in the actual film I'll be happy.

I know.

I think the scene is from the ending. Batman turns into a zombie and eats Superman with his kryptonite teeth.

Soldier: "What's that?"

Soldier2 : "Looks like some kind of a...tank?"

Soldier: "No, it's him...the Baaat man. He's flying on rooftops! He's flying.on.rooftops!"

Soldier 2: "Aaah, nooo! Stop him, he's crazy! He's wearing hockey pads!"

Batman (Bale voice): "Ahmnuwurringhuckeypuhdssss! Ruuuuhhrrrruurh!!!! Gruuuuurrrh!!! (Snaps neck, rips out throat etc)

(The End)

So... did I miss us talking about the goddamn burnt up Robin suit?

Quite vindicating, to see that they've included Robin. Hopefully there's a flashback where he actually appears.

I'm glad Robin exists, and that suit is okay for a prop sitting on display for a short scene, but I'd rather a more unique design than some kind of cobbled together conversion of the Batsuit (which is what it obviously is).

Stands to reason that robins suit would be made from the same protective material as the batsuit, while still maintaining a very classic look like batmans.

I like the similarities between the batsuit and robin's suit. It makes sense in my mind that it would be the same fabric, the same belt, gloves, boots etc.

Sure, there's similarities to the Batsuit, but it looks like the classic Robin suit to me. You can see that it's a reddish color, with the classic R on the chest, with the yellow "laces" going down the middle. And of course, you see the classic domino mask.

It's not as vibrant(maybe from being in an explosion?), but it looks like Robin's suit. I like it a lot.

They could have used the same material and had it be tailored completely different though. Didn't need to have that same muscular look.

And the boots and gloves are just Batman's, and the cape and neck arrangement are pretty similar.

I don't hate it, I would have just preferred something with more of its own design language rather than borrowing from Batman's. A tough red leather or cloth jerkin OVER a green "t-shirt" made from the Batsuit material, for example.

But it's not a huge issue.

lol Bruce was probably like, "When you're paying for it you can decide what you wear"

Disagree. I like the parity between the suits
