Am I the only one who was reminded of Sucker Punch?:

All those freeze framing a trailer meant to be watched in motion - that is Batman in the desert scene. In the cinema watching it in motion, you won't notice in that split second it's not Affleck but a stunt double.

Grasping at straws methinks.

I can't speak for the others but I noticed it wasn't Batfleck in motion.

so do you think Batman will take the "robo suit" he builds in this film and streamlines it to be more like the Batman Beyond suit?

I think once he starts seeing more and more superpowered beings showing up, he's going to realize he needs a suit/armor to properly "hang" with these "gods."

It's possible, but that's not something we'll see in this film or any DC films for quite some time.

They can probably recycle the dumb Robocop-looking Batsuits from the latter two Nolan films.

There's just an inherit goofiness to it. And it certainly clashes with the overt seriousness they're selling the film on. It's partly why I laughed when I first saw it in the trailer.

It reminds me Son of the Demon or something to do with Ra's Al Ghul, I seem to remember him having a similar kind of getup over his suit. I think it's a pretty cool, and certainly very different aesthetic. Maybe it is just a dream sequence, but I hope it's not and makes the film more ambitious

A double wouldn't be used in a scene like that. It's an acting scene with a bit of minor action, the kind Ben would do.

I agree it doesn't LOOK like Affleck, but it's a low-res image of an extreme facial expression. It's probably just Affleck.

Well, we're finally getting lenses!

:funny:

Yes, it's really nice to see Batman in a new environment.

We don't know how long this scene goes.
