The Last Son forgives you all your blasphemy... Just don't ask him to stop that giant comet coming to obliterate all life on Earth the next time. Let's see what Bruce has in his utility belt for that. ;)

God bless you! God bless everyone in your life!

Seeing those costumes in person do it way more justice then looking at photos. Affleck is a tank compared to cavill.

Well apparently that was by design if you watched the DC all access interview with Wilkinson. He stated that Snyder wanted his batman to be a big hulking tower of muscle.

Supes does have bigger arm muscles, both biceps and triceps.

By the way, I really like the subtler approach they've taken with the underarmor as opposed to the look of it in the concept art, where it obviously looks like an armor. When you observe it more closely, it becomes obvious that Batman's pecs and abs are in fact armor beneath the suit, but for most part it gives an impression of a hulking monster.

In concept art, it actually reminds me a bit of Captain America's TWS suit:

Completely agree on the underamor change on the final Batsuit, I preffer it over the more obvious one from the concept art

Another look at the tech cowl, courtesy of NYCC

There no way his regular cowl fits over that. I think it goes over his mask, maybe in the batwing/batmobile.

(Unless you were referring to just the Concept art)I don't think people give Affleck's physique enough credit. He is actually pretty darn jacked. Now yes like Cavill's suit, there is some under padding to make him a bit bigger but I honestly think Affleck and Cavill both fill these things out nicely and almost to the max.

Oh, Affleck definitely fills that suit quite nicely, but I was referring to the difference in padding actually - Cavill's is more subtle and made that way so we could buy the idea that all that muscle is entirely him under the suit. With Affleck it's not really the case, upon closer inspection, one can notice that it is an underarmor that is made that way to look like some beast's musculature physique. I do like that, as it makes the difference between two costumes that would otherwise look a bit too similar and it makes Bruce Wayne (while definitely ripped in his own right), to be completely lost in that monster the suit creates - he is almost entirely unrecognizable in the suit, appearing even bigger and more muscular.

Agreed. Could be like that eyesight he wears in "TDKR" when driving that tank of his, though we saw him in batmobile in the trailer when Supes ripped the doors and he was wearing his regular cowl. My bet would be on batwing.

I would love the lenses to complete the whole assemble if only so we could get shots like this. I can dream.

There's no reason why they couldn't recreate a shot like this; there doesn't need to be a "cowl with lenses" or a practical reason or even an effect of lighting... you simply create the tableau in the moment that presents the oportunity to do so. A passing moment to be enjoyed, not explained.

Yea would love to see something like that, but I can't shake the feeling that this underneath his mech suit cowl that he used to battle superman.
