I'm not opposed to a militaristic/utilitarian Batsuit, I just hate the way it was executed with the TDK suit. For instance, I wouldn't mind something like this:

The possibility of another military grade Batsuit... There aren't many ways you can do it that won't have Batman looking like ex-special forces military officer. I'm just tired of the idea of trying to justify/ground the Batsuit's existence irl... It's not a good feeling after the comic accurate designs of Affleck

I wont tolerate the lack of spikes on the arms. To me they're almost as iconic as the ears and cape. Even West had them!

Rest is cool tho

Not bad at all.

I like this concept minus the thought of his arms being ripped out because he has those straps under them.

Otherwise this is close to the White Knight suit, just better boots.

Spikes haven't been part of the Batsuit in plenty of iterations, including the original suit.

Aside from the original suit I can't remember any design that lacks them. and anyway I don't care, spikes are cool

I want black/grey or dark blue/grey. Not all black. Prefer more comic book look compared to realism but id be curious to see the military look.

I'm still hoping for that colour scehme, yellow oval and all, but I'm not expecting it. (Although I don't mind some militaristic elements. I'd prefer they look to MCU Cap's utilitarian fabric costumes for inspiration than either revert to Burton/Nolan/Snyder rubber, the weird plating from TDK, or try to go for a thin spandex suit).

Since Reeves seems to be going for a dirty, gritty Gotham with lots of old, worn things, I think a grey Batsuit really fits that mold. Grey fabric would show dirty and damage much better than black. It could be well used to give Bats a dirty, worn noir look.

I'm not totally against all black, but after having seen a grey suit in live action I don't really want to go back.

I really liked the work that these costume designers did on the Star Wars films. Even if they're going for another tactical/militaristic batsuit, I'm confident that they'll make it look aesthetically pleasing.
