But on THE Batman with undies / diapers?

He’s trying to be a creature of the night. An intimidating symbol of fear to the criminal underworld full of bullies, thugs, gang bangers, mafiosos and crazies ...

And he wears his god damn colored Hanes outside of his pants.

These images from Mortal look so high tech, sophisticated and cool. I really hope the new Pattinson suit follows these designs closely. Photoelectric covering to change the lenses and colors. WETA looks like they would have killed it totally especially with how tech and gadget-based and “spring/pistons” everything was on the Batsuit.

I don't get comments like this. Batman has almost always worn trunks, so much so that his costume looks strange, visually, without them. Why is it a problem now?
