Looks like you'll be able to have up to 3 players sing (0:48-1:10). I wonder if you'll be able to create a character and have your character play with the band (or replace one of them).

It's too bad that it won't be able to port its track list over to RB2 a la RB1, but I'll probably pick this game up anyway since Beatles have one of the most impressive catalog ever for an artist or band.

I might grab it. I don't really care for the "insert band name here" spin off games. The only one that would get me to buy it would be if they did one for "Van Halen" whom I absolutely love.

But I passed up Aerosmith, I'm going to pass up Metallica, and chances are I'll pass this one up also.

so will we be able to use the RB2 peripherals? (sp) or do we have buy brand new ones?

According to them it'll be compatible with all current gen peripherals.

With the bundle costing $250, they'd be pretty stupid not to make them compatible.

I mean, I know it's The Beatles and all, but forcing everyone to buy another premium kit would be a pretty *****ey thing to do.

I agree. I'm happy that all my periperals can be used for RB2, GH:TW, GH: Metallica, and RB Beatles.

i remember them saying when they first announced it that they wouldn't be compatible..

seriously can't wait...I'm the singer when I play rock band 2, and I can't wait to sing The Beatles songs!

They can do stupid Rock Band but they can't put their stuff on itunes???:cmad:

lol i got most of the collection from my local library there pretty good about the customers.

Cant wait for this. One of the few bands who I would buy a whole game focusing on.

If you're going to make a game based on one band, it should be the Beatles. I don't give a crap about Guitar Hero: Aerosmith or Guitar Hero: Metallica, but making a Beatles game is definitely a worthwhile endeavor. They are THE rock band, and if anyone is entitled to having their own game, it's them. I think this year, we could very well see the Rock Band franchise outshine Guitar Hero at retail. Seriously, how can a "greatest hits" rehash possibly outsell the Fab 4?

If it does, I'll lose what little faith in humanity I have left.

i just got an email from Game Stop, about the Special Collectors Edition of the game, it comes with exclusive peripherals, like a model of Pauls signature Bass and things like that.

i can't wait to get this for my birthday!!!

Will this game be compatable with the GT:WT Periperals??

The box art looks cool. I'm glad they went with a more "fun" look for the band, rather than something like the Abbey Road cover. It brings to mind more of the Beatles upbeat, energetic songs, which are probably going to be more fun in the game than "Yesterday" and the like.

does anyone know what the playlist migh be like?

It's going to have 45 songs, so I would guess it will be a nice cross section from their entire library. I remember a rumor saying that Harmonix had actually licensed a bunch more than that, so I wouldn't be surprised if we got full discography DLC over the course of a couple years, which would be just god damn amazing.

Also, I know that this game probably won't let you export it's songs into the normal Rock Band/Rock Band 2 games, but I see no reason why Harmonix shouldn't let you export Rock Band/Rock Band 2's set lists into this, and have the DLC be compatible with it. I just hate switching discs.

I hope "Daytripper" and "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" are on there.

It'd be nice if you could store all the songs from all Harmonix games on your hard drive and just play them in whatever Rock Band game you happen to be playing, but that seems like a bit too much to ask.

You pretty much can do that right now. The Beatles will be the first one since they split with Red Octane/Guitar Hero that won't allow you to export the tracks/import the tracks from the other games.
