Keaton the reason some people don't vote for Conroy is cause with all due respect it was just voice acting. Granted voice acting is challenging in it's own right but not as demanding as a physical role is. I'm still amazed by how much Keaton channeled a lot of my favorite interpretations of Batman especially considering that he wasn't even a comics fan or anything. He truly did get into the mind of the character and understand a lot of the principles that made the character an icon.
I like Kilmer second particularly because I'm extremely fond of his Bruce Wayne and his Batman was very much like the one I like best (70's Bats). I place Conroy third since 1992 it's his voice I always hear in my head when reading the comics. I didn't like Bale's Batman all that much he was much too talkative and seemed somewhat uncomfortable at times. However everything about the character I hear in TDK sounds brilliant and more in line with the established Batman I know and love so perhaps that will change my mind.
I guess I'm old school because I voted "Adam West". But, my favorite movie actors are Bale & Keaton for sure, the rest are lame. Kevin is great in the cartoons & BTAS is the best cartoon.
i loved bale as bruce, and he was pretty good as batman, but i hate the costumes of the movies, especially the newer ones, they are looking way too mechanical. i understand he can't just wear the tights, but they are getting to look to robotic. also, due to the disconnected cape/cowel, his head looks really big.
