For me, it was the first one. It was so original for me (I was 7, when I first time saw it) and I liked the light atmosphere of 80s spirit :)

Your choice?

Hhahahah, is there any need for this? yeah I guess there is.

My choice- Part 3, I liked the back to the tournament story and how the Cobra Kai were totally at their most powerfull.

the second one rocks my socks off. miyagi straight whups on chosen and his boys in that one scene. "live or die man?!"

None of them. Sidekicks with chuck Norris owns all the karate Kids.

I don't remember any except the first, but I'm fairly certain that I've seen them all at some point.

I love the first...but I think I like the second one more...it felt more big. The Third sucked. Cause I thought by part 3...he should have been a expert..and the story was a basic retread of the first. And lets forget part 4 exists... no Daniel...at ALL....screw that. She should have at least made a cameo

says it all.

LOL!!!! This is one movie I hope they never remake. the whole 80's feel just brings a charm to it now. lol

Like any of you spas's remember these movies first run, You all well deserved a blow that would crush several sheet of ice to the Face!!:cmad:

Part Two kicked much arse!!

The Next Karate kid was the best...with Hilary Swank,
Huuyannnk!!! *Jumps on car's hood*...what a good part :)

The best Karate Kid movie is the first one. Period. Close thread.

Karate Kid Part 1-3 are the best for me. No Ralph Macchio, no Karate Kid.

Karate Kid Part 3 was horrible.

And I really liked the remake. I'm surprised by how much I liked it. It had heart, great acting performances, and surprisingly excellent action.

As for which one I liked the most, I liked Part II the most. It upped the ante and I just love that final fight between Daniel and Chozen. Daniel went from fighting in a karate tournament in the first one to fighting for his life in the second.

The third one make him look like such a wimp. How do you survive a deathmatch and then go back and get embarrassed for all but the final 2 minutes of the movie? S**t, if it was Daniel from the end of Karate Kid part II he would have whipped that kid in the first scene he saw him.

Also, Ralph Macchio was incredibly pudgy looking in the third one.

I know this is taboo but I like the remake the best. Great, great acting from the main cast, awesome fight scenes, and amazing cinematography.
