The best of MUSE(the band)

Honestly, that's a tough question.

I've atleast two songs, in which I like, from the three albums that I own.

JStorm!

Where you been?

Why do I care?

Whose pants are these?

Sing for Absolution is probably my favorite Muse song. I also like The Small Print, Hysteria, Stockholm Syndrome, Plug in Baby, and Darkshines. Those're the best songs, for me, personally.

Let's take these questions one at a time.

Where have I been? I've been busy with classes and work. I just took my last exam and now I'm relaxing in my Jesusmas break.

Why do you care? You care because you secretly care about me in a hedero-sexual way.

Whose pants are those? Those pants are non other than Kevin Spacey's.

Good to see you too. :D

- Hysteria.
- Bliss.
- Time Is Running Out.
- Plug In Baby.
- Supermassive Black Hole.
- Starlight.
- Thoughts Of A Dying Atheist.

Those are my favorite singles.
Muse is one of my favorite bands.

Just about every song they have done, I listen to MUSE religiously. If I had to give a list of some I'd say. Sunburn, Muscle Museum, New Born, Plug in Baby, Megalomania, Citizen Erased, Apocalypse Please, Butterflies and Hurricanes, Stockholm Syndrome, Take a Bow, Exo-Politics, Assassin, Knights of Cydonia. I also like the cover they did of House of the Rising Sun.

PS Awsome thread

Concurement. Hysteria specifically.

Okay, I have never made a thread about it, because well, there's no music forums here (yeah...who needs that? hey I think Elektra is having a sequel let's make some 100 subforums for that one)

But I hate Muse.
I hate Muse with the fury of a thousand suns, because they took everything that makes Radiohead listenable, and then watered it down and dressed it in sweet, sweet metal garb.
yeah.
Matthew Bellamy's voice makes me want to stab my self in the ears with #2 pencils. it's like he sits around figuring out ways to make his voice sound MORE like 2 mating weasels in a blender. and the guitar work is so freaking ornate it's like a soviet living room exploded over liberace.
I mean, **** guys, tone it down a smidge K? , the saddest part is that they are halfway competent, but they CHOSE to suck, they chose to go down the road of playing something that sounds like the darkness but you have to listen to it with NO irony. that alone is torture.
so yeah, best Of muse, probably anything out of origin of simetry before they realized that those brief flares of "RAWK" was what the sorority girls where craving.
so yeah, I hate Muse, and I can't stop saying it, because otherwise people might think that I respect them or something.:cmad:

Lol Sparkle everyone that doesn't understand MUSE always compare them to Radiohead, thats lame. I love Radiohead and I love MUSE, believe me, there is no comparison. They say humans fear what they don't understand.

 LOL there's something to UNDERSTAND? I thought they where just guys too ashamed of their Glam Metal leanings to just dress in full sequined gowns and apply massive ammounts of eye shadow.
like I said, Origin Of Simetry is Ok, I even listened to it from time to time.
but Bellamy needs to take his freaking ritalin.
but do enlighten me as what exactly it is I need to "understand" to appreciate Muse, is there some subsonic undercurrent amongst the powersaw-trying-to-cut-through-metal ear piercing screeches of the singer?

I got tickets to see them at Wembly Stamdim anyone else?

Well I got a list lol.
New Born,
Plug in Baby,
Showbiz,
Cave,
Stockholm Sydrom - I love this one!
Take A Bow,
Knights of Cyndonia,
Butterflies and Hurricanes,
Blackout,

Darkshines,
Citerzine Erased.
Apocalypse Please
Sunburn,
Megalomania,
Assassin.

I like loads but there off the top of my head.
And great GIF's got anymore?

While I respect your opinion, I think you should look a little harder into what MUSE are about. They are a dying breed of music in a world being ODed of mainstream "get rich quick TV music" rubbish. Where's the love?

Thankyou Mr Sparkle, and I do urge you to have a good listen to each album in there entirety, they are works or art. The world would be a better place if they opened there minds to what MUSE portray. Such an epic, original sound should not be wasted.
