Who portrayed the Dark Knight best?

I personally think that Timm/Dini's Batman in the DCAU was the best Batman ever portrayed. Kevin Conroy's voice performance was great, also. Nolan's Batman comes in 2nd only to DCAU Batman. :batman:

I think the Timm/Dini interpretation is the best, but I wouldn't quite say Conroy gave the best performance. Not that I don't think he does spectacular voice work, but that time of thing just doesn't seem as captivating as the on-screen performance given by Bale or even Keaton.

Agreed, but when I voted for DCAU Bats, I meant him overall.

Looks like Chrstian's crushing this, so far.
I hope nobody votes for Adam West. :(

Bale by far
It was Keaton but Bale has since blown him outta the water.

Conroys Batman has to be the best ever-followed closely by Nolans...

I can't choose between Conroy and Bale.

DCAU, followed very closely by Bale

This is very interesting since I find the 89' version better than Begins but I find Begins to be the second best portrayal under DCAU version.

Tis it is

Thanks,im so used to Conroy's Batman being listed under BTAS

hmmmmmmm it's a close one between that and Bale for me as both offer something different

I think the only front players are DCAU Batman and Nolan's Batman.
Christian Bale was not only a great Batman, and the same can go for Keaton, but Batman Begins just had so much more substance than Tim Burton's Batman or any of it's sequel.

That's just what I think.

oh and there's ever only been one bat in my mind

no scene on screen tops this one from mask of the phantasm....

until that happens, my mind is made up...

This scene is one of the many things that made me choose DCAU Bats.

Lol, that is true. :D
Tim Burton Batman fans, I'm waiting.

*Loads gun and sets traps*

I'd say the Timmverse Batman, but Bale's performance is what gives Nolan's franchise the edge. By a hair.
