The Birds Of Prey thread

Aw, I thought it was cool when Bruce was a dick to Babs and Babs decided, "Eff this noise," and moved the Birds to Metropolis. :hehe:

Birds of Prey is still considered Bat-related?

Yeah, I believe it is. In October there's a one-shot focusing on Oracle during the Return of Bruce Wayne. I think that's suppose to take the place of BOP during that month.

Then Superman was a dick to Babs and she decided "eff this noise" and moved them to Platinum Flats:awesome:

I've been reading Gails BoP trades, and I really liked the scene between Dinah and Bruce in issue 79. It managed to make Dinah cool without undermining Batman.

Though I still think Bruce would kick her ass in fight. I dont care how much shiva training Dinah gets, lol.

I'm glad they are back, glad to read Simone again. The art is cool.
I do not give a **** about Hawk and Dove, and I think it does not suit them to have a man in the team.
The most important thing, is to read a clever Dinah again. And clever writing in general , for the Birds.

Yeah, same for me. I thought it was a better idea than let them in Gotham. The all mighty bat God does not need help anyway, and I thought it was nice to be welcome by Superman, like a "proof of their efficiency".

What's wrong with a man on the team? I mean, yeah, Hawk shouldn't be on the team, but that's because he sucks, not because he's a man. The Birds were never, as far as I recall, actually supposed to be an all-girl team in Babs' mission statement. She just struck up a partnership with Dinah and then expanded it to include other friends who also happened to be women. She never put up a sign over their HQ's doors saying "No Pee-Pees Allowed!" or anything. :o
Never took the time to reply to that.
Yeah, it was not written in golden letters "No Pee-Pees Allowed!", but I thought it was quite implied. When Barbara contacts other "agents, it is mostly women. No, they are not supposed to be an all-girl team by any means, but I thought it was implied this way. The "core team" being always women.

Eh, I just looked at it as Babs being close to Dinah more than anyone else and then wanting to offer Huntress a team that could hopefully be a healthy environment for her, since she was teetering on the edge for a while. Zinda, I suppose, could make a case for the team being consciously all females, since Babs didn't seem to have much of a personal relationship with her before. But I don't know, I personally still don't have a problem with men on the team.

I do not have a problem with men on the team. But not Hawk.

Hawk is a dick. :(

Yeah, I have a problem with Hawk on the grounds of extreme suckage. :o

Whats up with Huntress taking on her old uniform? Im surprised Gail put her back in it.

They had two guys on the team for awhile. That Savantorwhateverhisnamewas guy and his gay Russian bodyguard.

Well, they were always kinda on the fence about the whole good guy/bad guy thing.

Also, there's a new Hawk and Dove or did Extant come back?

Extant came back and he's paired up with the newest Dove from Simone's Teen Titans issues with :-)barf:) Liefeld.

You mean the old Dove that was his girlfriend that got killed and made him go crazy in the first place right?
