You know it's funny: my girlfriend like the half naked one a lot more. She says it's cooler even if it is impractical

Yeah, I mean it's a cool lookin' costume and I suppose no costume is super practtical....

Meh. It's ugly, impractical, and stupid to me. Brilliant idea, cutting holes out of your costume right over your very vulnerable stomach, and I'm sure those daisy dukes are going to make jumping from rooftop to rooftop very comfortable. On the up side, maybe she'll accidentally flash a crook and score an easy hit while he's distracted.

Yes, I know, I'm a grumpy old man before my time. I just hate seeing that kind of s*** in comics today. It'd be one thing if she just had a revealing costume--that's something I doubt will ever go away in superhero comics so long as the primary audience is still male. But artists like Benes and Cho who go out of their way to insert T&A shots at the expense of actually telling the goddamn story really piss me off.

 

I know it is impractical but it is also rather hot

the showdown between Dinah and the White Canary and the scene with Savant and Creote

Dove got the chance to be too

 

I thought it was alright, the ending felt really rushed. I know they were going for the whole cliffhanger thing, but felt pretty wonky. Still not digging this whole 'White Canary' stuff, I wish they would have just named her something less lame.

I'll give it another arc or two, but I don't know, just not feeling the punch was hoping to.

 

The ending was a bit rushed but it is not really an ending as a lot of the plot points will be contined in the next arc.

I enjoyed seeing Dove show that she can kick ass

 

The Dove punch (tee hee hee) was pretty cool. I enjoyed this little story arc if nothing else to see Simone & Benes reunited on BoP again.

Jamal Igle is great. I loved his work on Firestorm.

I wonder what Benes is going to be doing after his Birds redux...

 

It is a pity that Benes will not be the artist on BOP from December but Igle is pretty fab too

Issue 4 was excellent IMO.

Same here. Dove was cool ; The fact that Hawk is down helped. I dig Savant and Creote.
I enjoyed this arc too, a lot of fun and excitement. Clever writing, clever girls, good art.

While I like Benes, I wont miss him for Decemeber since so far we have only gotten one full issue of his art since his return to the title.

 

Well, last issue was indeed without Benes. Too bad. The art was OK. But I keep digging the story and the girls. I can't wait for the next issue and am really intriguing in what happened to Dinah next.
The only weird thing in this issue, for me, was how quick Babs recovered from the difficult situation she was in, after this emotional and dangerous stuff with Savant and Creote, once in the car, she was just acting like nothing had happen. I found it very weird how fast she "forgot" the event, especially since it was indeed depicted as a very stressful and tense situation just in the previous issue.

 

Really liked this issue

Glad Barbara is going to try and help Savant and I am interested to see what is going on with Dinah
