The Blob (1988)

So tonight I noticed this film was on TV, and though I am a fan of the 50's version, I couldn't remember really seeing this one all the way through. This movie not only ended up surprising me in quality, but the effects were pretty good as well. The gore really caught me off guard though, and it had probably the most gruesome child death I've ever seen in a film. Still the film really amazed me that I liked it that much. I don't think I'm ever gonna want to try and unclog a sink again though.

One of my favorite remakes and Horror films, still holds up. An underrated gem for sure.
