Ahh this sucks so much it could really be a great movie I really doubt that any studio is going to want to do this. The only studio I think that would even think about it is Lions Gate or the Weinstien company.

RE: hughie's age- there is a reference to Dan Quayle getting thrown off the VP ticket in '88, but the character says to Hughie he's probably too young to remember it- with the series set in roughly 2007, that would put Hughie in his early to mid twenties.

Doe anyone know which issues/arcs the show cover?

I want to read the relevant comic issues first and then see the show (I badly want to see the show, but I haven't read all the issues of 'The Boys' yet and don't want to spoil the comic experience).

Gosh darn, I wouldn't know about that. There is one major difference in the story involving the Butcher and Homelander and it happens at the very end of the season. Apparently, everything else is close to the source.

In the comics one of the main human character's wife is raped by a superhero called Homelander and she dies in her husbands hands after having a miscarriage. In the show she has disappeared and spoiler alert, there's a major twist at the end of season 1 that is not in the comics
