So there was no Aquaman in this latest issue?
Nope. It mostly focused on Deadman gettin' his freak on and the Star Sapphires.
Nope. Mostly Firestorm, Aliveman, and the Hawks.
Sadface. Wasn't the variant cover an Aquaman cover, too?
Taffying in spaaaaaaaaaceeee
So what happened with Boston in this week's BD? I flipped through it and saw a vast majority of Hawks, so I skipped it.
Is it bad I bought the Aquaman Varient to the issue two weeks ago just to have it?
Yes. And it's even worse that you admitted to it.
I'm not exactly sure. The ring became fully charged and he separated the Hawks from each other. Lorena was there for like... A panel.
What can I do to atone for my sins?
Needs more Lorena
I noticed the last page said Aquawar was up next, so hopefully Lorena will be a big player in that.
Shovel Womp's driveway.
Yay more Aquagirl
I loves her. Hope she will be more like she was in Sub Diego
I do too. That chick in Teen Titans was clearly some kind of terrible impersonator.
Um, I think we're supposed to think that the white ring killed the f**k out of the Hawkses.
What? So you're saying this is an issue I totally should've read because it would've brought me great joy, then?
the thing was all "100% baby" and the hawks were all "naw, man!" and the thing was like "eff you" and boston was like "wha?".
Well if you hate them enough to want to see them die painfully a little bit then...sure? They'll probably be back in time for their James Robinson-written ongoing, though.
No, because I did the same thing. I own both the Aquaman and Firestorm variant covers.
Actually the Hawks story was pretty effing good this issue. And they are the first cast members of the Brightest Day book to complete their mission.
Complete? So they're done? Like, out of the book done? Yayzer beams!
I don't think that they're completely out of the book, but it looks like that Deadman sorta killed them. Or at least separated them.
Pfft. Zoom beat them.
I think this book is actually doing the opposite of what it intended, which is making me go from neutral feelings towards the hawks, to disliking the hawks.
But Zoom isn't a part of the Brightest Day book. In that case Jade and Maxwell Lord have also completed their missions.
