The Butterfly Effect remake?

I liked the orginal but by all means it's not a landmark film nor is it a pop culture gem.

A remake is stupid because what else can you do with it's concept unless you do a TV show or something.

I still think the alternate ending is goofy.

I really liked the movie. Never saw te sequel(s). I don't see the point in a remake, though.

Also... Yeah, the alternate ending is silly.

I really liked the movie. Ashton could have been so much better if he had tried more things like this instead of an endless streams of rom-coms.

They want to remake a mediocre movie that's not really that old? Strange.

Only if they cast Logan Lerman as the lead character again, this time as the adult version (lol)

I for one LOVED this movie when it first came out. Looking back the alternate ending is pretty damn goofy but I do remember thinking at the time that Evan was able to do what he did because his present consciousness was fully taken back into his fetal form. God damn it sounds so ****ing stupid when you actually type it out. Anyways though, yea I loved this movie and have never seen any of the sequels. Honestly, I'm for this as we know the sequels weren't special just for the fact that nobody I've ever known has ever talked about any of them. Sad too actually, this story has an unbelievable amount of potential. There's just hundreds of different places you could take the story and things you could do. Would be bad ass as a tv series too.

It was a dispobile forgettable film that was kinda entertaining. Not worth a remake, but like you suggest, a TV show wouldn't be bad. Also, it retroactively makes the movie even more important to pop culture if the show's a hit.

The director's cut was the only good ending to the film.
