to be honest, i think that's a bit too complicated and too much story to be put into the movie.

it would be an entire chapter on its own and there is already so many stuff to be done in the movie that i don't see how there is space for somthing like that.

it's been suggested that it's a dream. it could be an envisionment of how superman's 'adversaries' try to depict him. let's take for example a political figure implying superman has a secret army underground [which he hasn't]. perhaps this is what we're seeing, who knows.

that's no where near too much story for a movie

What i want to know is how Cyborgs and Magical races fit into this plot.

I'm a bit more interested in why Batman is using a rifle. I get that it might be a homage to TDKR, but with all his advanced texh, why would he use that for a line launcher?

Well that's what we're assuming but who knows. It could be a good ol' kryptonite bullet. I wonder how they're going to deal with kryptonite in this universe.

It was mentioned by someone before that the location looks like the inside of a grain silo, and these uniformed men here are more than likely members of some paramilitary outfit, maybe even a cult that formed as a reaction to the existence of Superman. They probably worship him, but do really ****** things otherwise, so Supes came by to clean the place up and disband them.

Interesting..

IMDb Cast List

Jesse Nagy ... Captain Welch Silo Officer

Jonathan Stanley ... Silo Officer

Although they're missile silos, still..

That would be Ozzy...

Yup.

Mistaking Ozzy Osbourne with Gene Simmons... :whatever:

:o

Interesting..

IMDb cast list

Taras Los ... Russian Foreign Minister

We know Superman will presumably intervene in an aborted/failed Russian rocket launch judging by a shot in the trailer. Could this be the rumoured international incident?..

We already saw some Russian satellite/spacecraft being held by Superman in the trailer. And it seems that Corto Maltese might appear too. It looks there's much more "TDKR" here than I originally thought there will be.
Damn it Snyder, there are other comic books to draw influence from, with much better writers than Miller.

By the way, name Corto Maltese always reminds me of this guy:

It's either a homage and what it was used for in TDKR or a kryptonite bullet as many have said numerous times. It seems pretty obvious.

yes, but, why are they in there? obviously we can take from that it is on the mexican festive 'day of the dead'. i don't think supes' is a border control officer and i don't think they're asking superman for a lift through the sky to enter the states, so.....assuming he rescues somebody or a bunch on day of the dead?

LOL great way to enter the states hahaha

Given that we have Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and who knows who else in movie, it's safe to say that it's not 100% dkr. But it is heavily inspired by it, or at least the fight between the two is. I really feel like The fight itself won't be long at all, and then we'll get setups for the justice league and suicide sqaud.

Yeah, that would make sense, and would also be another homage to TDK and its "Sons of Batman."

Add me to those who didn't expect this movie to draw as heavily on TDK as it is apparently going to do. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I'm a big Dark Knight fan but it seems an odd choice as a Justice League set-up (and the follow-up series that did feature the JLA was widely panned). But nothing to do but wait and see.

The weird thing to me is a lot of people spoke very favorably of DKR before BvS was announced, and reacted very positively when the DKR line was read out by Lennix. Now the more people see the more they're starting to get reservations...why is that? Is it because of how Supes gets treated in DKR? Is it because they actually don't like DKR and they were just kissing its ass to seem like Batman connoisseurs?

Just.Don't.Get.It.

It seems like a lot of plot devices and scenes are being used from DKR, but I've got a feeling the conclusion is going to be far from DKR's. To be honest I think the scenes and components we've seen so far are perfectly fine, I wouldn't want a direct adaptation (which we're not getting so it's a moot point) but I do have to ask if people would've complained if these things popped up and DKR didn't exist.

The hate for DKR has been increasing proportionately to the amount of DKR influence shown in BvS.

Am I the only one that thinks Zack is tricking us? I'm not 100% sold that is Batman Saying "Tell me..... Do you bleed.... you will" and not 100% sold that the scene that shows armored Batman and floating Superman is them about to fight each other. I wonder if that is a unknown villain saying that and they are about to team up to fight said villain.

Just speculation, but I do feel that the trailer is not all of what it seems.
Very excited, to see this movie, so long to wait.
