The Cape

Exactly. If stuff like Smallville and Chuck can last, this show has a chance as well.

And get the man a mask!

I think smallville had a ton of great supporting actors that helped carry Tom Welling. Lex, Martha, Jonathan, Lionel Luthor were all played by pretty good actors. I would even say the writing was a bit better. Not to mention its about Superman, that alone makes people wanna give it a chance.

Right now the dude in this show is nearly dying from poisoning and they are cracking jokes.

Couldnt they have casted a villain that didnt look like a skinny mr. bean

James Frain is actually probably one of the better actors on the show right now. Him and David. Glau would be up there if she wasn't such a damn rip-off of Babs Gordon.

I was hoping for a villain that set himself on fire when I saw the opening credits.

I guess we have our Bat Cave.

So I guess this ends with The Cape taking down the bad guy & exposing him & all of that stuff & then the rest of the show is about him just fighting Crime ?

It's shows like this that make me miss "Now & Again".

that would be sweet, and his cape gets destroyed in a huge explosion.........cliffhanger!!

This show is not as good as I hoped it would be. The pacing is incredibly fast, not that that's a problem, but more character development would have been appreciated.

So he takes down the main guy but then he pisses off the secret society of killers

I think its a bad sign that im not really paying attention. Im on facebook and talking on the phone. This needs to be a lot more riveting.

this is like smallville clark losing his powers, Vince has already lost his cape

I'm interested, but I'm spending too much time trying to figure stuff out. I wish they'd fleshed out what Chess' deal is more. Like, was he a serial killer who formulated this plan as a means of getting away with it and still be able to hurt people, or is he a corrupt corporate executive who created a serial killer as a piece of his power grab scheme? I know the difference seems minor, but each scenario says something very different about the character. It'd be nice to have seen more of his psycho killer reign of terror before he became shadow mayor of the city.

I guess those smokescreen effects got to expensive.

:applaud

Ditto.

So far I've spotted the bank from spider man 2 and the elegant ball room place/restaurant used in daredevil. Anybody else notice these?

And this is why Wonder Woman would never work as a show. Budget restraints.

Third that.

I enjoyed the second episode more so than the first, but the show could do for some more character development and action.

Still, the actor who plays him is pretty good, and his performance lends credence to option one, but it'd still be nice to have seen it.

i dont see budget being a problem for this show. seems to be more of a pacing, and lack of character development thats the problem.
