DC doesnt need to continue the age old trend of women of a certain age cant play so and so.

Amy Adams is 42 years old with her costar being 33. This is kind of unprecedented. DCU has been very inclusive in their casting so far.

I would say 30-40, but otherwise I agree. 45 might be fine for Sirens, but you have to factor in the actress potentially pushing 50 in her next appearance, by which I suspect Batfleck will have retired from the Batman role and have been replaced with someone younger.

This is a shared universe, you can't just worry about the film at hand with these things. That's how we got the cartel drug lord Joker.

And unless it's a Year One type of story, 30-45 is much more fitting for the character, even without having Batflecks age in mind.

While I agree that her current age is perfect for the role, I didn't like her much as Catwoman in TDKR, so I don't want her in that role in DCEU.

As for bringing same actors to play same characters in different universes, I am not against it per se, but I don't really see a point of that. They would have to play that character differently and basically reinvent it almost to the point as if it's a different role (assuming they are capable of approaching it with a clean slate), but if that's the case then why bring that same actor in the first place, instead of casting someone new?

I find bringing characters from TDKT in different roles, like Tom Hardy as Rick Flag, to be a much better approach.

I'm calling it now: there's no way Megan Fox gets anywhere near the MCCU or the DCEU. And at the least, she'd get a supporting role, but she wouldn't ever be Poison Ivy or any other character of that nature.
