I’m in awe of how simple this is, but still bloody brilliant. All them kills are brutal. I also like how the director doesn’t shy away from the influences on this, he instead wears it in pride. One of the best flicks of the year for me.

Sad to see but kind of inevitable with the sharp decline of physical media. Redbox would occasionally come through in a pinch. The last time I used one was when I rented Tenet on Blu-ray because it wasn't yet available as a digital rental.

Bummer if they can't find a way to turn this around. Libraries are gonna be the only places left to rent physical movies. And gosh, people are so dumb - Paying three times as much, sometimes way more than that, to rent a new movie online than you could to get the disc at Redbox.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (Fincher)

Man, this has aged wonderfully for the most part, like a fine wine. The twist and somewhat of the final half does not live up to the build up from the beginning, but still masterfully done. I found myself once again gripped from the set up and I enjoyed more of what Craig was doing. He also looked very stylish, while looking very somewhat casual. @DKDetective can speak more on this way better than me here. A great revisit.
