Since I see everything in theaters, there have been three trailers so far that played in front of almost every movie this year, Argylle, A Quiet Place Day One, and now Speak No Evil.

They kinda did Pugh dirty with her lack of a neck here lol

Wooo he bout to make a name for himself here

Phoenix definitely getting sued. That Joker money might pay for it tho. Mara can also just take money from them GIANTS. Eh.

With Gena Rowlands' passing, I definitely understand the urge from people to be offended at trades eulogizing her as 'Notebook star' but I also feel like a lot of these people don't realize who directed The Notebook, because it feels like trashing her son's movie is not exactly the most respectful way to 'honor her legacy.'

ill be honest, i did not know her son directed it until i read the article by the NY Times

I haven't seen much backlash but are people really that mad about it? In any case, I think it just boils down to recency bias in addition to The Notebook being her most well-known movie by a very wide margin. At the same time, there's no argument that while the clear leads of that movie are McAdams and Gosling, Gena Rowlands (and James Garner) definitely left a significant impact on viewers. The ending is maybe the most talked about aspect of it and that's all her and Garner.

i think part of the discussion is also, like her character, that she suffered from dementia later in life.

Sydney Sweeney and her team have done a masterful job promoting her image. Her instagram alone now is better than any late night interview could ever do for her. Respect her for knowing why she is popular and using that for income and getting things done.

RIP to the great Alain Delon.

Easily in the top three most handsome actors ever on cinema. A great men’s fashion icon as well.

I shall rewatch La Piscine in his honor.

Thank god Rifftrax fixed the issue with their youtube channel. Shake Hands with Danger is too important to me.
